I woke up early to get ready for school. I had to drop off Winter at her school and then go to my own classes. I was a very busy person with keeping track of everything. There was a lot to keep in mind with all of Winter's activities, my classes, and making sure Daphne was okay. My mom was still staying with us and she was doing fantastic work with Daphne.

Once I was dressed, I went to check on Winter. She was ready as well and was bringing her school bag down. The school had instruments there for her to use so Winter didn't have to bring any of hers. Mom was already awake as well, making breakfast. I went to check on Daphne to find her awake.

After I changed her diaper, I carried her into the kitchen and set her in the bouncer. I ate a little bit of food but didn't have much time before Winter and I had to leave. I hugged my mom goodbye and made sure to kiss Daphne on the forehead. We were on our way in no time with all of our stuff.

Winter rubbed her eyes tiredly. "I'm tired, Mom."

"I am too," I said, "but we both have school."

"How's college?" Winter asked. "Is it like my school?"

"Kinda but there's a lot more work," I answered. "It's fun though. I like it enough."

"Do you like taking music classes?" Winter asked.

"Of course," I replied. "It'll help with you and Austin. Plus, I can teach it too."

"You and Dad are busy now, aren't you?" Winter asked.

"Yes but we'll work it out," I said. "We're a team. Good relationships are built on trust and working together."

"Is that everything a relationship is built on?"

"No," I replied. "A lot of things go into it, like communication. It all depends on the relationship though."

Winter looked over at me. "Do you and Dad have a good relationship?"

"Yes, we do," I replied. "We keep things private because he's famous and we don't want the whole world to be in our business."

"But isn't it nice being famous?"

I pulled into Winter's school and to the curb. "Not always, baby. There are people out there who don't have the best intentions when it comes to famous people."

Winter got out of the car with her stuff but looked at me one last time. "I'd like to know more about all that so that I don't do anything that will make it worse for Dad."

I smiled a little. "I'll make sure we'll do that, baby. Now get to school so you're not late."

Winter turned and left, the limp from her prosthetic barely noticeable. She used it on an almost daily basis. There were a few times that she didn't use it but it was mainly after she used her prosthetic for awhile.

I left after making sure that Winter made it inside the building. I drove to the university and made it just in time for class. I was at school all day and, when I was done, I went to pick up Winter. She was finishing with her music club when I showed up.

I drove the two of us home, tired from a full day. When I got home, I found my mom making dinner. Daphne was in the kitchen in her bouncer, babbling as she chewed on a teether. I hugged my mom after setting my bags down and picked up Daphne. I walked around with her, glad to be holding her then. I loved when kids were the size of Daphne.

Austin came home not long after I did. He was as tired as I was but greeted me with a kiss. He hugged Winter and took Daphne from me, rocking her side to side. He had her in his lap for the entirety of dinner and took her into the living room with her.

After finishing the dishes, I went into the living room and found Austin asleep with Daphne on his chest, who was asleep just like him. I smiled and took a picture of them together. They were so adorable.

I went upstairs and sat at my desk in my room to do my homework. There was a lot to do and I wanted to stay on top of it. I was halfway through when Austin came in. He was groggy from his nap but he kissed my temple and sat on the edge of the bed.

"How's it going?" he asked, sleep still heavy in his voice.

"Good," I replied, setting my pencil down. "I'm already most of the way through. How did Daphne get down?"

"Good," Austin said. "She barely woke up when I moved her to her crib."

"That's good," I said. "I'll be in bed in a little bit. I want to finish this before I get to sleep."

"That's okay," Austin said. "I'll stay up to keep your company. I don't think that I'll be able to get to sleep with that nap I took earlier."

I went back to my homework. Even though we didn't talk much, just having Austin in the same room was comforting and I was able to concentrate. I finished my homework late in the night and joined Austin in bed. He was half asleep anyways and lazily wrapped an arm around my waist. I smiled softly as I cuddled into him. I had a good life with my husband and two daughters. I wouldn't have it any other way.
