Austin and I were waiting in his private jet to take off. Being a famous rapper had its perks and a private jet was one of them. I almost didn't feel like I was worth being on the jet but since Austin was so popular, it would attract too much attention for us to take a regular airplane. Our stuff was already loaded and we were just waiting for the pilot. We were going to Ireland, Scotland, and Germany for our honeymoon. I was excited to spend time together as a couple. I had never been out of the country and Ireland was on the list of places I had wanted to go to.
Austin squeezed my thigh. "Are you excited, babe?"
I nodded. "Of course! I haven't left the country before and Germany is where my family's from."
"Do you speak German?" Austin asked.
"Yeah but I'm not fluent," I replied. "Winter can understand it more than speak it. She's said that she wants to learn more but I hadn't been able to find a German tutor yet."
"You know you could use apps, right?" Austin asked. "They're not a tutor but they could be useful too."
"I'll have to think about it," I said. "Because those apps are free while a tutor costs money."
"I can pay for a tutor," Austin said. "She's my daughter now, after all."
"You're a great dad," I replied. "Have you thought about adopting her? Or even seeing if Winter's willing to let you adopt her?"
"The thought has crossed my mind," Austin answered. "I was going to talk to you about it."
I shrugged. "I don't mind. It's up to her."
"I was thinking of making it a surprise," Austin said. "She already considers me her dad so it'd be nice to make it official by adopting her."
I smiled a little. "I'm sure she'd like the surprise. Maybe that could be a Christmas present."
"That's a good idea for Christmas," Austin said. "We'll talk about it more as the time comes closer. Right now, we have a honeymoon to enjoy."
The pilot came on the intercom and announced that we would be leaving in a few minutes. I leaned against Austin, grabbing his hand to hold it. I was excited for our trip and happy to enjoy it with the love of my life. I didn't want to leave Winter behind but she was in good hands.
The flight took a couple hours. In that time, we find things to occupy our time. We talked, played cards, watched movies, or read books. It wasn't a bad flight. As the plane made its descent, I looked out the window at the city of Dublin. Austin held my hand and kissed my temple.
When we landed, we grabbed our bags and were escorted to a car. There were a few groups of fans waiting around the front of the airport. Austin was nice enough to stop to talk to them. I stayed next to him, smiling and even talking to a few of the fans. They were nice and sweet. I wasn't in any of the pictures but I remained near Austin.
We eventually got into the car and were driven to the hotel. I didn't like to be spoiled but since it was our honeymoon, I was more okay about it. Once we were checked in and had gone up to our room, I put my bags down and flopped onto the bed. Austin stood at the edge of the bed, looking at his phone.
I tapped his leg with my foot. "What's up?"
"It's just my manager," Austin replied, putting his phone away. "It's nothing, really. Are you hungry or do you want to wait a little before getting something to eat?"
I rolled onto my back to look at the ceiling. "I don't know. I'm tired from all the flying. What are you feeling for dinner?"
Austin laid down on the bed with me. "We could probably go to a pub or something."
I yawned. "Sounds fun. I've always wanted to go to one of those while here."
"Do you want a nap before we go?"
I shook my head. "No, I'm good. Do you want a wait a little until we go out?"
Austin nodded. "Sure. Gives us time to rest before going out."
We hung out at the hotel for another half an hour or so before we left to go to a pub. Austin was wear a hat and sunglasses so he wouldn't be as recognizable. I held his hand as we went to the closest pub. We sat at the bar and ordered some food with drinks. We weren't bothered at the bar, which was nice.
We sat at the bar for awhile, even after we finished our food. We watched the tv that was playing in front of us, which was playing some soccer game. I was eventually too tired to be around people so we left. It was late and there were people out. I caught a couple people staring at Austin but they didn't come up to us.
At the hotel, I changed and climbed into bed. I was too tired to even do my night routine. I was already half asleep when Austin got into bed with me. I cuddled up against Austin, trying to get closer to him. It was already a great start to our honeymoon.
