"Disney World here we come," excitedly exclaimed Maryse, stepping off one of the coaches the school had hired to transport the seniors to the airport. A member of staff was on every bus to ensure all the students aboard behaved as best they could. "I think it will be nice being Serenity free for once," she added, daring to get her hopes up, even when everyone had heard Serenity loudly discussing and making plans to visit the amusement park at the same time as the school. Unsurprisingly, her mother had let her little angel go and paid for the trip to ensure she wouldn't miss out, after an extended argument with the school about Serenity's unfair punishment and proclaiming her daughter's innocence.
"That would be nice," spoke Finn, recalling making plans with Echo in particular, the pair would visit Galaxy's Edge and live out all their Star Wars dreams. "But said brat has just arrived," he pointed out as he rolled his eyes. At the arriving station, behind the black buses, was a sky-blue car. Serenity was getting out of it, complaining to the driver about something. A secondary person ran to get a trolley before helping Serenity get the suitcase set from the trunk of the car.
"Remember to shout Final Destination if anyone gets a prememition of the plane exploding or a rollercoaster going tits up," Summer casually spoke, choosing to ignore Serenity, even when she made a beeline for the family of light and dark. No doubt she'd have high expectations no one cared for, and have a list of demands and rules everyone would be expected to follow.
"At this point, I'd shout, get me away from her," announced Roman, nonchalantly throwing a hand in Serenity's direction, briefly a tired expression flashed across his face, as did regret. His comment somewhat amused those around him, particularly the Darklings and the boys of the lighter side. Dexter, nearby, had also hummed in response to the comment.
"She does know if she tags along, she'd be stuck with us too, right?" asked Bo, his words loud enough for Serenity to hear him clearly, as proven with the ugh! that escaped her lips not seconds later, showing her displeasure at the idea of being around so many and not be the center of attention. "Think of it as a test run to see how well things work at our local amusement park the day after prom."
"Speaking of prom, we girls are off to the spa for the day," said Carmella, proving she had taken her given task seriously and arranged the spa trip as discussed in the group chat the girls had created over the previous week. "Complete with manicures and a dip in the jacuzzi," she added, although she neglected to mention she was personally looking forward to the massage. Her smile brightened when a chorus of "we love you, Mella" erupted from the girls, in an almost repeat of when Echo had finalized the details for the amusement park trip and the afterparty.
"Does everyone know who they're paired with for the hotel?" Nikki asked, recalling that the school had gone all out with the trip, and suites had been booked, each able to accommodate six students. However, some were lucky enough to have a room to themselves. By now, Serenity had joined the large gathering, attempting to find common ground with Jo-Jo. However, that quickly came to an end when Liv excitedly joined them, linking arms with Jo-Jo before happily announcing they were roommates.
"Lucky Jo-Jo, you get to escape rooming with us Darkling girls," laughed Alexa, "Bex still counts as one of us lol," she added playfully, seeing the way Becky looked over and laughed, "The wyatt boys get a suite all to themselves," she commented, "Just like our darklings boys, although they get two of the hounds too."
"I look forward to the battle between dad mode and protective Drew mode," voiced Roman, looking between Miz and Drew. Serenity seemed to perk up, and a grin spread across her features as she followed the group into the airport. Her happiness grew when she realized Roman would be parted from Seth and Dean due to the room arrangement. However, that wasn't important at that moment; she instead ignored the school register Vicki was taking to ensure all students were accounted for, just as Stephanie had done at the school before the bus ride had begun.
