chapter 22: advice

Lokis POV
The next morning I woke up with an urgent sounding knock on our bedroom door.
I got up slowly and untangled my limbs from Lillys she was sleeping peacefully which I was quite surprised.

I walked over to our front door and opened it and Heimdall stood with a golden envelope in his hands. He smiled and handed me the envelope. "Came 5 minutes ago prince loki I believe it's from your father and mother and valiant" he said and and he handed me the envelope. I thought it must be special for Heimdall to deliver it personally.
I walked to my office and sat down at my desk and opened the letter.

Dear son and daughter

I believe we should be back by the afternoon on the day that this letter will reach you. Your mother read the letter you sent us and is now in panic mode I suppose it's my fault for letter her read it in the first place.

Valiant is good he's been helping out he's a smart kid you have don't forget that. He says he misses his mom cuddles but likes his grandma cuddles too.

As for this urgent news I will meet you and Lilly in your room and we can discuss it then if you'd like.

I read the letter though and laughed at my son valiant I really miss his smiling face it will be so good to have him back.

"Loki!" Lilly shouted I got up and briskly walked to our bedroom and opened the door only to see her clutching her stomach and crying.
I rushed over to her and put my hand on her back "what's wrong?" I asked in panic mode she looked up at me and I could see how much this whole thing has taken its toll on her. Her eyes had sunken in and her skin was sickly pale she just looked exausted.

"I'm so worried" she said clutching her stomach as if to protect it. "Hey we'll be fine don't you worry I've asked father for advice he's going be here soon and mom will take valiant to her room and get him settled down in their room for tonight" I explained.
Lilly lay her head against my chest and sighed. "It's horrible being pregnant sometimes but it's also wonderful" she said kissing my bare chest.
"Lilly I love you so much please don't be sad because it makes me sad" I said kissing to top of her head.

"Loki can you do me a favour?" She asked looking up at me with those puppy eyes that I couldn't resist "ok fine just stop with the puppy eyes" she laughed at me "can you rub my stomach with the lotion frigga gave us during my pregnancy with valiant it really helped with stomach cramps?" She asked and I nodded I wanted to help Lilly in any way that I could .

I got the lotion from our bathroom and went into the bedroom I saw Lilly lying down and I lifted her pajama shirt up and saw a small smooth baby bump I smiled and kissed it.
