chapter 25: bigger surprise

Lillys pov

The past few weeks my small bump had doubled in size loki I think had begun to notice he had booked me an appointment with the healers this afternoon.

Loki is currently on earth with Thor helping out after some sort of disaster and also trying to improve his image with the midguardians after the new york incident. Opps.

12:30 come on time hurry up I thought my appointment was at 13:00 I suppose I could take a slow walk down to the healers that would pass sometime I think again to myself I had nothing better to do because frigga had taken valiant out for his afternoon buggy ride to send him to sleep which I was thankful for... otherwise I would of had to drag him to the healers which he has hated ever since he got his baby injections.

I stood up and went to the mirror and admired how big my bump had got in such a short space of time I wish loki was here I'm worried about this appointment I just want to be able to hold this baby in my arms safe and sound.

I walked out of mine and Lokis seemingly empty room and walked along the palace walls to keep my balance. Suddenly a sense of virtigo seemed to wash over me and I lost my balance everything seemed to go out of focus and I dropped to the floor knocking something over in the process.

I lay on the floor unable to get up and unable to make use of my limbs I could hear rushing in the background but could not focus on who it was until their face was right in front of me.

Heimdall?
The Asgardian that had rush to my aid was Heimdall surprisingly. "Okay princess Lilly you just hold tight I'll be back in a moment" he said and I heard running as Heimdall ran off to get help.

What if this is it? What if I'm losing my baby? Loki where are you? I need you loki.

My vision faded in and out and in and out as healers rushed around me trying to bring my vision back to some sort of normality I felt sharp picks in my arms I asume they were needles. Heimdall lifted me up and placed me on something soft. Lights began to move above my head. "Quick quick move it's an emergency" someone shouted and that's when I backed out.

Lokis pov

"Loki don't be such an arrogant git" said Tony we were currently discussing which of our planets was more advanced and it was fair to say he was losing the argument so he was lashing out as Thor would say.

"So how's that wife of yours?" Natasha asks nobody knew that we had a child nor that she was pregnant again I suppose now was a good time to tell them that loki the bad guy had settled down and had become a father "she's food everything's great we have a one year old son valiant and now Lilly is pregnant again" I said leaving out the worrying part. I looked up to see everybody's face had dropped in shock and their eyes as wide as plates I almost choked myself laughing at their faces.

"Let me see photos" natasha demanded I don't think she quite believed that I was a father and was going to be a father of two soon.

I pulled out a small photo of Lilly and valiant just after he had been born that was the most precious picture I had I hesitated to hand it to natasha "I'll give it back don't worry loki" natasha assured me u was surprised she was being so nice to me as the rest of the Avengers were still hesitant to accept me which was understandable.

"She's beautiful loki... your wife but why has she got blue hair?" Natasha asked I sighed "she was poisoned and very sick it froze her from the outside first but luckily not the inside so now she's been left with blue hair" I said and natasha looked sadly at the photo "I'm sorry loki you must have gone threw alot when that happened" she said and Tony leaned over her shoulder to look at the photo.

"Aww he's cute how the hell is he yours?" Tony joked and handed me back the photo which I tucked away safely.
"When is Thor due to return from Asgard?" Tony asked just as Thor ran through the door of the group room. "Loki loki!" He shouted he looked as if he was about to burst into tears I knew something had happened to Lilly "it's Lilly she fainted... They can't wake her up and there was blood alot of blood she may of had a misscariage"

I felt as if my whole world had collapsed.
