chapter 12: A Child?

Lokis pov
It had been two weeks since our wedding and neither of us could be bothered to do anything after making love each and every night for the past two weeks. I have never been so in love with someone I'm so glad that Lilly loves me just as much as I love her.
I turned on my right side to see my beautiful wife sleeping soundly like an angel. Lilly looked so peaceful in her sleep I stroked her cheek and her eyes fluttered open.
"Morning love" she said and leaned forward to kiss my lips "today's the day we go back to Asguard. I asked mother and she said our double room is now ready and waiting and thor and Jane have had a little girl" I said and Lilly eyes lit up "Oh how wonderful a little I'm an aunty" she said sitting up in bed and looked out the window.
Lilly had a distant look on her face it was almost a sad look. I sat up and put my arms around her and rested my chin on her shoulder. "What is troubling you my dear" I asked holding her close to me afraid this might all be just a dream and I'd wake up back where it all began.
"It's just that there's so much pressure on our relationship to be perfect and for everything to go smoothly.... what happens if I can't have children loki what will the people of Asguard say?" She asked I didn't realise she was so determined to have children and have a perfect relationship "darlin' nobody has a perfect relationship not even Thor and Lady Jane have that and they still muddle through and I think we are near enough perfect for each other I have no doubt everything will be fine my love... comeon let's get ready to return to Asguard as a married couple for the first time".
A few hours later
Me and Lilly road in on our carriage as the people of Asguard clapped and waved the chanted and sung and danced it was nice to see so much support for for our marriage.
Eventually we entered the palace and we were greeted by frigga and Odin "Oh my baby is a woman I can tell" frigga hugged Lilly and Lilly blushed as I winked at her while hugging my father. We all sat around the small breakfast table eating and drinking merrily "so should I be expecting grandchildren soon" frigga questioned me and Lilly. Lilly chocked on her drink and I patted her back "mother may I discuss something in private with you" Frigga nodded and we headed toward her chamber.

"What's troubling you loki ?" She asked holding my hands tightly she was always such an affectionate person which I was glad for "I well... you see Lilly is having some trouble and I don't know what to do she said she's worried that she might not be able to have children and I so want to give her the joy of being a mother" I said "Oh Loki you worry to much of course Lilly can have children she's just scared is all it is.... It can sometimes take years for women to be with child don't worry my son everything will be fine"
"She also worried that some Asguardian citizens are not happy with our marriage they say that we are brother and sister but we are not" I said Frigga looked taken back "right I'll have a word with your father about this I'm sure we can sort that problem out as for the pregnancy you'll just have to wait an see" she said and we left her chambers I said goodbye and walked into mine and Lilly room.
Lilly was sitting in our personal library reading a book not just any book the title was 'how to get pregnant quick" I sighed and went to remove the book from her "don't worry so much love we will get pregnant soon" I said stroking her hair out of her face I went to kiss her lips. Lilly let out a gasp and hunched over holding her stomach. I rushed to help her.
