"We can't let that happen," Ortho exclaims. "Please, Headmage, you have to save Idia!"

"But of course," Crowley agrees. "With a peer's life at stake, I'm sure all of the kind souls here would be more than glad to lend their aid—"

"Nah," the boys all said in unison.

"I'll go," I volunteer.

"You're not going anywhere," Sebek declares.

"But why," Ortho whines. "You could all help, or at least let Y/n help!"

"He snubs the company of others, yet we're supposed to fly to his rescue," Vil questions. "I see no reason to indulge such selfish behavior."

"This is your bro's problem, not ours," Leona scoffs. "Figure it out yourself."

"What the hell is wrong with you guys," I exclaim. "This is a life or death situation! Have some compassion! Plus I would like my dorm back!"

"...Okay, fine," Ortho had taken in Leona's words. "I can handle it, sure."

"I can help, Ortho," I tell the boy. "You don't have to do this alone." Ortho ignores me and moves away from the group, closer to the main building.

"Hey, wait," Kalim calls out to Ortho. "You can't possibly think you can do this alone—"

"Running simulation of Idia Shroud rescue mission," Ortho announces. Magic beams were materializing around him. "Priority: Shortest time to achieve objective. Simulation completed successfully. Commencing live operation. Charging technomantic energy. Target: Night Raven College, main building. Technomantic beam firing in five, four, three, two..."

"STOOOP!" Crowley shouts at Ortho. "Were you truly about to vaporize our historic building?! I forbid you from firing that beam!"

"Look, if no one's going to help, then I don't have any other option," Ortho argues.

"As for the rest of you—" Crowley turns back to the group of students. "Are you absolutely certain you wish to stick with your initial answer? Because if you actually abandon Idia to his fate..."

"So what if we do?" Ace challenges the headmage. "Don't bother threatenin' me, 'cuz—"

"Why look! There's a Night Raven College student now!" Crowley interrupts Ace with a slight pitch up of his voice.

Ace was confused, "What're you doing?"

"Hello there, I'm a reporter with TBC News! You attend Night Raven College, correct?" Crowley continues his improve, using his staff as a microphone.

Ace slightly takes a step back, not appreciating Crowley shoving his staff in his face, "I guess? Whoa, geez, ever hear of personal space, Headmage?!"

Crowley doesn't stop his improve, "Is it true that ghosts took over your campus? Give us an honest answer! Oh, by the way, this is going to be in tomorrow morning's edition. Here, let's get a picture for the article!" Crowley has a few floating cameras appear and they start taking photos of Ace.

"Wow, he's really into this," I mutter. Sebek nods his head in agreement. Crowley keeps going and Ace gets quickly gets annoyed, yelling at Crowley to knock it out.

"If the headmage can think about this situation getting to the public, why doesn't he take Y/n's situation seriously," Deuce questions.

"If Shroud never returns, I can assure you the press will be crawling all over our campus day and night, hounding you with questions," Crowley tells the boys. "I, being the considerate person I am, have no desire to see my students run ragged with fear and anxiety."
