"Kya hogaya yaha aise zameen pe kaise aagaye tum?" Ahaan sat near him
"Gir gaya!" Umer said, a single tear left his eye and Ahaan's heart went out to him.
"Lagi kahi?" Ahaan asked and umer shook his head
"Toh kyu ro rahe ho?" Ahaan pulled him in a tight hug and rubbed his back.
"Kab tak aise hi rahunga? Laachar, dusro pe dependent, kya kabhi apne pair par nahi chal paonga?" Umer asked crying
"Tum pagal hogaye ho? Sahi kehti hai zara paise barbaad kar raha hu mai tumhe mbbs padhake, 104.8 tha fever, seizures aaye hai, medicines ke heavy dosage le rahe ho, weakness toh rahegi na? Insaan normal fever me uth nahi sakta tum seizures aane ke dusre din expect kar rahe ho ki achese chaloge phiroge toh aise kaise hoga? Medicines three days ke hai wo khatam hojaayein uske baad theek hojaoge don't worry!" Ahaan kissed top of Umer's head while rubbing his back
"Uthe hi kyu tum bed se, awaaz dete kisi ko, call karte par nahi dimag ghaans khane gaya hai, kyu itni laparwahi kar rahe ho umer? Maza aaraha hai kya aapne aapko aur mujhe takleef dekar?" Ahaan scolded him.
"Mujhe kyu maza aayega, kuch acha karne jata hu har baar galat hojata hai, mai thak gaya hu apne aap se mujhe gussa aaraha hai bohut zyada!" Umer burst out crying loudly
"Shaant hojao, acha buss nahi daanunga ab rona bund karo, 3 din se continues rorahe ho, zara ka asar horaha hai shayad, utho come on bed pe baitho, chalo shabash!" Ahaan stood up and gave his hand to umer. Umer held Ahaan's hands and stood up with his help.
"Batao kaha jana chah rahe the? Lawn me ya zara ke paas?" Ahaan asked
"Library!" Umer muttered
"Huh?" Ahaan frowned
"Aapne kaha tha na nap liye baad library me baat karoge!" Umer said
"Areyy toh aisa kounsa urgent tha, tum waqayi pagal ho umer mujhse baat karna tha toh bula lete hum yahi baithke baat karlete, library me hi baat karna zaruri toh nahi!" Ahaan made umer sit on the bed.
"Zoi aate rehti hai yaha wo sab sunlegi fir!" Umer said
"Sunke dikhaye iss baar wo!" Ahaan said
"Meri baat horahi thi kya?" Just then Zara burst into Umer's room, hopping like a penguin with a wide smile on her face.
"Alaadin ka chirag hai yeh naam lo aur haazir!" Umer rolled his eyes
"Theek se chalo aise koun chalta hai?" Ahaan raised his eyebrows.
"Kya kar rahe hai aap dono? Mai bore horahi hu kuch interesting karein?" Zara asked sitting between them
"Homework karne kaha tha, kaha tak pahucha woh?" Ahaan's expression turned stern.
"Haa wo....wo mai isliye hi aayi thi...colour..colour pencils chahiye bhai kaha hai wo?" Zara's smile faltered for a moment before she sprang up with a new excuse.
"Mai stationery lag raha hu? Jo mere paas honge?" Umer scoffed
Zara squinted her eyes, convincing him to save her as she didn't even opened her bag.
"Waha mere study table pe honge dekhlo!"Umer nodded.
Zara quickly grabbed the colour pencils before making a hasty exit.
"Zaruu homework complete karlo uske baad hum teeno koi movie dekhenge, games khalenge bohut time hogaya achese time spent nahi kiya, mai tum dono ke liye tumlog ke pasand ki dish bhi banaonga!" Ahaan smiled softly before she goes.
"Abhi dekhein? Homework raat me karlungi!" Zara asked happily and came back again into the room
"Chali jao wapis ungli do toh hath pakadti ho, mujhe umer se baat karni ab yaha aao to knock karke aana, aur jab tak homework nahi hota uthogi nahi tum aayi baat samjh?" Ahaan's expression turned firmed
