"I won't!" Zara yelled.
Ahaan's jaw clenched, this is the second time zara dared to shout at him.
"You know what bohut hogaya get up stand in a corner, I've tried to be gentle but pyaar se baat karu toh samjh nahi aata hai na stand in a corner till the time you realise that you actually threw attitude on his face and you think it's cool but trust me it's not!" Ahaan growled.
"Mai fir bhi sorry nahi karungi!" She muttered sulking and went towards a corner.
"Thappad maarunga zara mai ab!" His voice boomed, his face became red with frustration. She was testing his patience, pushing him to his limits.
She knew he just keeps on bluffing but he would never lay a hand on her, atleast not in this lifetime, no matter how much she push his buttons, she was now completely fearless, unafraid of any punishments.
"Yeh notes complete chahiye mujhe abhi ke abhi, fariha ko call karo notes mangao aur copy karo, aur abhi padhna start kro mai test lunga raat tak, you aren't sitting until you prepare for test, and write a proper apology for your professor!" He announced throwing the book at her, which hit the wall behind her.
As Ahaan slammed the book against the wall behind her, its loud thud made Zara flinch, her eyes widened. The force with which it had hit the wall sent shivers down her spine. For a moment, she forgot to breathe. The realization dawned on her that Ahaan's anger wasn't just a bluff; he was capable of really punishing her badly.
"I don't miss my target, it was supposed to hit the wall and it did, be grateful that it was just book, next time it won't be a book and it won't be a wall!" He said sharply.
Tears formed in her eyes, she felt a shiver down her spine.
"Khabardaar jo aankh se ek aansu toh!" Ahaan warned her.
She wiped tears from the corner of her eyes.
"Mera phone aapke pass hai, fariha ko phone karna hai" She said meekly while sniffing, her voice trembled as she spoke all her attitude and sass flew away.
He gave his phone to her without even glancing at her.
Fariha sent her the notes, but zara found it difficult to copy them from the phone while standing, she sighed deeply regretting that she should have completed it in class, Ahaan noticed her struggle but didn't bulge on punishment she should know her mistake.
After 2 hours and with a lot of struggle she finally completed her notes, her legs felt sore, and sleep was consuming her, in this 2 hours she realised that she actually misbehaved, especially when she had shouted on Ahaan.
"Bhaiya!" She whispered.
Ahaan continued working, ignoring her.
She pouted sadly, her eyes welled up with tears again, she hates when Ahaan ignores her.
"Bhaiya I am sorry!" She whispered, her voice louder this time.
Ahaan remained focused on his work, not acknowledging her apology.
"Please maaf kardein!" She pleaded, her tears fell slowly.
Ahaan glanced up, his gaze met zara's downcast face. Her face was hung so low that only her head is visible not her face. For a moment, he smiled, but quickly schooled himself to maintain his stern expression.
Zara looked up, her eyes locked onto Ahaan's. But he quickly returned to his work, ignoring her again.
"Bhaiya jii I am sorry!" She cried.
"Don't do it zara har baar bhaiya jii keh kar apni baat nahi manwa sakti ho aur rona bund karo kuch keh hi nahi raha mai to rona kyu araha hai?" He asked without lifting his face.
