Later that night, Zara was in Ahaan's room after dinner, scrolling through her phone while waiting for him to finish his call
"Sojao zara school jana hai subah!" Ahaan's voice boomed
"Aap hi busy hai phone me, mai toh rakh hi rahi thi ek reel dekh kar!" Zara muttered shutting her phone off
"Mujhe school jana hai ki tumhe? Mai phone me busy hu to khud so sakti ho na, mera intezaar karna zaruri hai? Late soti ho fir subah time par uthne roti ho, kal agar rona nikla na toh dekhna maar maar kar uthaonga!" Ahaan glared her
"Aapko bhi office jana hai na aap so nahi sakte time pe?? Aur haa zaruri hai aapka wait karna warna neend nahi aati mujhe!" Zara shrugged
"Bohut zyada phone use karne nahi lag gayi aaj kal?" Ahaan raised his eyebrow
"Aap shak kar rahe hai mujh par?" Zara asked dramatically
"Sojao chup karke, "shaq kar rahe hai'!" Ahaan mimicked her under his breath, rolling his eyes before turning off the lamp and lying beside her.
"Bhaiya kya mai jaan sakti hu, aapne bhai ko kuch din phele kyu maara tha?" For a moment there was silence, then Zara whispered carefully
"Kab maara?" Ahaan opened one eye..
"Jab bhai ko rote rote seizures aagaye the!" Zara said softly
"Ki thi usne kuch bewakoofi!" Ahaan said
"Kya bhai ko maarne ki wajah yeh thi ki aapko bhai ke feelings meenu ko lekar pata lag gaye the!" Zara asked ofcourse she knew the reason but she felt this was also the thing for Ahaan's anger and saad hid this with her.
"Kaisi baatein kar rahi ho zara, kya bakwass hai, hosh kiya karo bolne se phele, aur tumhe kisne bataya umer ki feelings ka?" Ahaan snapped
"Batayein na bhaiya kya aap isliye gussa hue the kyuki bhai loves her?" Zara's voice was cautious, but curious.
"Shutup zaruu aisi koi baat nahi mai kyu gussa hunga is baat pe!" Ahaan denied his voice was calm not scolding
"Aapko bhai ki love marriage se koi masla nahi hai na?" Zara confirmed
"Nahi hai mujhe koi masla, maine usse ladayi karne par mara tha is chiz ke liye nahi aur bataya hai na saad ne tumhe sab fir kyu puch rahi ho?" Ahaan asked
Zara gasped
"Aapko pata hai ki mujhe pata hai?" She asked
"Ji tum dono ke baare me har ek chiz pata hoti hai mujhe wo bhi baatein jo tumlog mujhse chupate ho, kaha jaate ho, kya karte, sab pata hota hai mujhe!" Ahaan glared her
Instead of being scared, Zara gave a small mischievous smile, turned her back to him, and closed her eyes.
"Good night bhaiya jii!"
"Good night princess!" Ahaan smiled
Something clicked in her mind and she opened her eyes again
"Bhaiya!" She said slowly
"Hmm!"
"Aapse ek baat share karu, isliye share kar rahi hu kyu ki aapne abhi kaha aapko sab pata lag jata hai, aapko yeh baat khud se pata chale isse phele mai chahti hu ki mai hu batadu warna pitayi kardoge aap!" Zara said mischievously but her voice sounded serious
"Haa bolo kya baat hai" Ahaan opened his eyes, sensing her tone.
"Aap gussa karoge" She said meekly
"Kya kiya!" Ahaan said pressing on his words.
