Bonus Chapter: Part 1

September

Jennie has been studying the team's tasks for tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, and next week for the past hour. By the end of the working day, her head is no longer thinking clearly, but she needs to assess the amount of work now. The girl is pleased that there are significantly fewer tasks for the project and that the guys are no longer under heavy pressure.

-Will you be away tomorrow?- Nayeon quickly peeks into Jennie's office, inquiring about the art director's plans for Thursday.

-Probably not.- Jennie replies thoughtfully, adjusting her glasses on her nose, looking at her laptop screen, and then looking up at her colleague.- Is something wrong?

Nayeon raises her hand and waves it around, indicating that it's no big deal.

-No, I'm just curious. The guys wanted to meet up at the bar on Friday.- She replies, and Jennie is already focusing her gaze on her colleague.- Are you and Rose coming?

Two months have passed since the girls officially started dating, and, of course, it didn't stay a secret for long. Just a week after their first date, Jennie's entire team found out about their relationship. This was partly because Rose got in touch with her former colleagues via chat room and agreed to meet up with the guys at the bar, just like before.

The girls didn't beat around the bush and immediately made it clear that they were now in a relationship. Of course, after such an unexpected announcement, Jennie and Rose were bombarded with dozens of curious questions, ranging from "When did it all start?" to "So now it's serious?" In the end, everyone warmly welcomed the news that their former and current art directors were dating. Nayeon and Julie even admitted that they had suspected it for a long time. Jennie was a little worried that people might react negatively to the news and suspect Rose of bias in choosing her replacement. But, to Kim's surprise, her colleagues were even more reasonable than she had expected. No one even thought about it - before Rose was chosen, many would have chosen Jennie anyway. Rather, they were happy that there was another connection with Rose and that the blonde would spend more Friday evenings with the team, as before. Everyone literally came out ahead.

-I won't be in the office on Friday either.- Jennie replies, glancing at her watch to check the time: it's almost the end of the working day.- But we might swing by the bar.

Kim gives Nayeon a faint smile and receives an approving nod from her.

-See you Friday, then.- Nayeon says, winking at Jennie and leaving to get ready to go home.

Since Jennie and Rose started dating, the brown-haired girl stopped working at the office on Thursdays and Fridays unless necessary, so she could spend more time with Rose until the blonde started her contract. Overall, Jennie decided she had to compromise, and now only goes to the office on Thursdays and Fridays in the mornings, and on rare occasions when important board meetings are scheduled. The rest of the time she works from home.

Rose: I'm already here😘

Seeing the message in her notification bar, Jennie broke into a broad smile, anticipating a pleasant evening with the blonde.

Jennie: 5 minutes❤️

Despite feeling slightly tired, Jennie's mood instantly lifts. She cheerfully gets up from the table and quickly packs her things into her backpack.

Lisa: Have you left already?

After packing up her laptop and all the accompanying accessories, the girl quickly checks that everything in the office is turned off and leaves the room, replying to Lisa's message on the way.
