Amidst the fantasies that my mind constructed, the last glimmers of nostalgia and regret clumped together to create a voidful emotion inside my chest,

I was once more next to her, the person I used to hold right by me. My creator, once model, and partner in field.

My eyes feel weightless and shoulders like feathers, if I spread my arms out I would be able to fly. I feel free, unchained, and light.

She smiles at me, makes me feel happy. What is this, I wonder. Why does this feeling persist? Why do... I feel.

Feel, so different now...

After all the spite, all the hatred, the betrayal and traitory of my tale, may be of old, but still there...

''Abe...?'' I muttered, unable to keep my jaw from slipping lower.

''Starstruck?'' She set the food down on the nightstand and took a seat right next to me on the bed. ''Even after everything that has happened, it's good to see you again.''

''How is this possible? I'm dreaming, aren't I?'' I put a hand to my cheek and lightly pinched myself, however, I never 'awoke'.

Abe simply hummed and crossed her legs. ''If seeing me is considered a 'Dream' for you, then I'm flattered.''

''N-No, that's not it, you should be-'' I stammered, trying to explain to no avail. She soon would interrupt me with my exact thoughts.

''Dead?'' Abe closed her eyes. ''Maybe, but this isn't reality, you know? If it were, it would break the very rules of the world I studied so hard to understand.''

''...''

After seeing her so nonchalantly begin rocking her feet to and fro, feeling nothing else but the warmth of comforting illusion, I smiled, ever so softly. Unbeknownst to me, even.

A small, barely noticeable curve to my lips. Blink, and you would miss it.

''In here, there is no Rapture Queen.''

''There is no need to impress anybody.''

''There is no war, nothing but us and everybody else.''

Abe uncrossed her legs and slowly got up, crouching down to pick up the picture that I had dropped previously. She shook the broken glass off it and took a look. ''And don't worry about this, we need to retake it either way.''

She sighed. ''Oh for the love of... How are we gonna fit the Round Table with us?''

''... The Round Table...?'' I pondered, before suddenly realizing. ''Are they also here?''
