Urgh...
Harran sat at the edge of her bed, hands cupping her head with elbows propped on her hips. Such an exhausting day, to end in such a way, she wanted nothing more than to clear her head.
What an unfortunate turn of events. Every time she went to lick her lips now was accompanied by the memory of the walking headache latching his own onto them. It was not enough to drive her crazy, but it was getting there.
The ever so lustrous, proper, confident Harran had her shoulders completely slumped at the thought.
"Be my follower... Seriously...?" Her left eye twitched and she gritted her teeth as she reminisced on Abel's words. "You? What made you think this was a good idea..."
She rolled her eyes and finally caved backwards, lying down on her bed and strewing her arms on opposite sides of her body. She let out a sigh, an exhausted one, and dimmed her eyelids.
... Though, every time she took a breath through her nose, Abel's scent got through to her. How much time had that boy spent laying in her bed for his scent to get engraved in the sheets?
She'll have to give them a thorough wash to get the smell off... Smell? Somehow, that description didn't sit right with her...
Nor did that thought...
... Maybe it wasn't as bad as she thought.
She always knew her beauty would get to his head. It had never failed her. Every human she met on the surface had followed the same fate. Heart would flutter beyond limits, and just like that, it would eventually break.
Stunning face with the most beautiful pair of eyes any would ever lay theirs on, hair any woman on the planet would die to have, and the body of a literal goddess.
Harran wasn't a stranger to being alluring, in other words. Countless had she met in the decades prevailing, attempting, wishing to be her follower from their first meeting. Dazzled by her charisma, devoted by a mere glance.
But what Abel had done was far beyond the confines of anything they had done.
He was bold, confident even. Ever since their first meeting his ego had never died down. Persistence is something she would've never thought would get to her head...
Claiming her lips without a second thought... Call that bravery or stupidity, it wouldn't make a difference whatsoever.
Not only that - he was strong. Far stronger than any human she had the chance to meet. Comparable to the strength of tens of Nikkes, their first meeting had shown that much to her. Abel was definitely a freak of nature, along with Y/n.
"Whatever the Ark did to them to turn out like this..." She mumbled, opening her eyes and looking at the ceiling. "I would've never thought they would have the technology to achieve it."
Her heart- core? It was beating at a rather quick pace. There was a certain heat to cheeks, and the knot in her stomach had tightened once again. The strangest of feelings to the witch had once more encompassed her body.
'Maybe...' She contemplated.
That was when something in the corner of her eye caught her attention. Right on her nightstand was a container filled with a certain liquid. She certainly did not place it there.
Curiosity got the better of her, and she decided to see what it was. She sat upright and shuffled towards it, grabbing it from the sides and setting it down on her lap. She popped open the lid and looked inside.
