Chapter 8~

Tiffany woke up to the pitter patter of raindrops on her roof. She looked outside her window and saw dreary clouds that spilled their tears across Seoul. The sun was nowhere in sight and the rain had no signs of letting up. "Looks like a dull day," Tiffany whispered.

Now Tiffany had gotten used to the Seoul high school life. News about Tiffany's new position in Sunny's band had gotten around and people were congratulating her left and right. That rainy day, a certain event changed her views on her new found popularity.

It was after school and the school was pretty much empty. Tiffany had stayed behind to make up work she had missed due to her short period of being sick. As she was walking through the halls, someone blocked her way when she reached the doors.

"Yah Tiffany! Let's talk for a bit."

"Ohh annyounghasaeyo Dara!" Tiffany said cheerily.

Dara: "You can stop your innocent little act now little miss sunshine. Stop acting so cocky like you own the place."

Tiffany: "Bwa? Mianhae I don't understand what you mean by acting cocky."

Dara: "Aigoo you really are dumb. Jugelle?! Do you think I'm an idiot?! You think I don't notice you prancing around the school like the queen bee? Jjin jjah you're unbelievable. I rule the school, got it? My dad is the headmaster so if you do ONE more thing to make me mad, you're out of this school."

Tiffany: "Mianhae. I didn't know you felt that way Dara. But rest assured. I'm not trying to be the top girl. I'm just tryi-"

Dara: "Enough already! Don't act all innocent. I know about your mother. She's dead and you're a disgrace to her spirit. She probably died because of you! All you do is cause trouble to those around you."

All of the things Dara had said to Tiffany had never really bothered her but this time, Dara had hit a homerun. Her accusations had announced Tiffany's worst fears. Her mother's death. Without another word, Tiffany ran outside into the rain in tears.
