Every Last One Of Them. (Levi x TitanShifter!Reader)

  Levi hurried through the streets of the district. You follow suit and hurry behind him to match his fast pace. The clinks of the 3DMG against your legs were the only sounds that you could hear, it was oddly quiet for a district, and you couldn't help but feel like something was wrong.

  At that moment, the ground shakes violently. It was too big to be an earthquake and a lighting bolt slams down on to the ground in the distance.

"Someone transformed." You whisper as you glance at Levi, who seemed as composed as ever. However, his eyes were glazed over, ands eyebrows scrunched up in concern. He readies his 3DMG and without a word, zips across the skyline towards the explosion.

"Levi! It's too dangerous!" You call out as best as you can so your voice is not carried away by the wind.

"If we don't find out who it is, and constrain them, this whole district could burn down again. Do you not realize that there are thousands of civilians here? We can't risk it." He shouts back.

  Before you both expect anything, a full blown force knocks you out of the air and you land on the hard concrete ground without any resistance. You taste the blood in your mouth but force yourself to look up to see Levi in the hands of a titan. He was clearly struggling to get out of it's grasp, but you knew that this titan shifter was not on humanity's side. You had to risk your own identity to save him, and his death was inching closer and closer as he is brought closer to it's agape mouth.

"Don't you fucking dare (Your Name)!"

  You curse out loud and sink your teeth into your hand as you hope that Levi would be able to forgive you for betraying his trust. You feel yourself being enveloped in the fibrous, muscle-like capsule that latched on to your body. Your consciousness ebbs away and soon returns into a whole new perspective. You had no trouble finding yourself in your titan form, as you had done this countless number of times before you were sent into the walls. You hear the crackle of thunder and slowly stand to your feet as the debris and smoke clears to reveal you.

  You roar as you charge at the titan in front of you, who seemed dumbfounded by your presence. Your fist connects with his face and his grip on Levi immediately releases, before you could help him, he crashes into a nearby building and skids to the ground; injured but conscious. As you fight him, Levi crawls to his feet as he curses. He touches his side and winces as he feels the warm blood soaking through, however he forces himself to look up at you.

"You idiot." Levi whispers to himself.

  When you finally bring the other titan shifter to his knees, you swing your head back and bring it down into his neck, sinking your teeth into it's nape and ripping apart the capsule that he was in. The titan goes slack and you know that it was all over. Your consciousness returns to your human form as you are aware of the searing hot pain latching on to your back and face. You feel something above you slice open and a strong pair of arms pull you out into the cool air. You take a fresh gasp of air as your whole body feels like it's been boiling in water for hours. You slowly open your eyes to the best of your ability to find Levi staring down at you. He was yelling something, but you couldn't really make it out from the ringing in your ears.

  He places his hands behind your neck and pulls you to him, lifting you up in his arms. Despite his injury, he was able to do so with ease. He walks across the array of soldiers and onlookers that had arrived only a few moments ago with you still in his arms. He knew that he was going to have to watch you face trial, but for that moment, he just wanted to protect you no matter what.
