  You weren't feeling too good the day before you woke up with an even more serious headache than the previous night. You didn't expect the slight cold you have to transition into something even worse. Levi was at work and you didn't want to bother him into coming back home to take care of you. You were an adult after all, and you could handle a small cold.

  Even going to the bathroom and doing the daily necessities became extremely hard for you to finish. You knew Levi would be upset with you if you didn't do your share of housework that you were supposed to complete before he came home. All you could do was lay on the couch; barely able to move your body without having every muscle in your body ache. You had a bucket beside you in case you had to throw up and wouldn't be able to make it to the toilet in time. You knew how fussy Levi got when you made a mess, you couldn't imagine him reacting to your puke on the carpet. Thinking about what you were doing to do, your eyelids grew heavier and you finally drifted off into a feverish slumber.

"I'm home." Levi calls into the house to get no reply. He frowned as he realizes that something is wrong, you always greeted him back when he came home.

  He begins to look for you and finds you curled up on the couch. He was planning to yell at you to wake up when he notices your slightly red cheeks and heavy panting. His heart instantly clenches with worry as he places his cool hand against your boiling hot forehead to find you burning a high fever. He lifts you up in his arms and walks over to your bed and sets you down gently.

  He then begins to apply an ice cold towel on your head which he had prepared for this type of scenario. He watches you silently for a while as he rakes his long slender fingers through your soft hair. He then leans in and kisses you delicately on your cheek before getting up to clean and take care of the things you couldn't do.

When you finally wake up, you sit up slowly to find that you feel much better than you previously felt. The fever had gone down quite a lot, but you still felt a bit out of it and woozy.

"It's good to see you're awake.." You turn your head to the sound of his voice and see Levi standing at the door with a bowl of steaming congee with a small smile detected on his lips.

"Ah hey..." You are surprised at how your voice squeaked.

"You feeling a little better? You had a pretty high fever." He sets down the bowl gently beside you and cradles your face in his hands as he examines your face.

"Yeah..I'm feeling okay.." You nod as you avert your eyes from his gaze.

"Why didn't you call me?" He asks gently.

"I didn't want to get in your way." You say as you look up again to see his finger flick on your forehead pretty hard.

"Don't be stupid (Your Name)...you know you matter most to me over anything. Next time, don;t be afraid to call." He ruffles your hair lovingly and you cannot help but smile at him.

"Okay~"
