-Enjoy!-

Levi loved you. He loved you so much that he didn't know what to do whenever you were around. This was probably the first time he had felt something for a woman in a very long time. Ever since Petra passed, he swore to himself that he would never associate himself with women again. It wasn't because he wasn't attracted to them, he just didn't want to endure the same pain and regret he had felt in the past. But as soon as he spotted you in that park; painting away peacefully. He had found himself drawn to you whether he wanted to or not.

Maybe it was faith, or maybe it was merely just a coincidence. His heart almost skipped a beat when he saw you walking down the hallway. He thought he was imagining things or had mistaken someone or you, but he catches sight of your hands and he knew that were was no doubt.

Your hands were always stained with the colours of paint. Others wouldn't  have noticed those pair of small hands, but he had. It was a kind of distinction that reinforced his feelings for you. He caught himself staring at your side view as your hand moved delicately over your notebook. He had admired you secretly for months, but he couldn't find himself telling you his feelings. Levi had been through so much shit, that he had almost forgotten how to socialise.

He couldn't understand why you weren't popular with the girls in the class. In fact, he always wondered why you enjoyed sitting alone for lunch. You genuinely didn't seem to mind the solitude, when he could barely go through half of his without the thoughts of his deceased friends. He was a tragic cause, and nobody was going to dig deeper to find him out. Well, that's what he thought until you both encounter each other face to face for the first time.

You weren't looking where you were going, and neither was he. Your hands were full with the plate of paint and cup of water for mixing, and you had been so focused on not spilling anything, that you ran smack into him. Paint and water splashes all over the place, including on the two of you. You had expected him to get mad at you, but he just heaves a sigh with an annoyed frown as he pulls his soiled shirt out to examine. He absolutely hated getting things dirty. You blink nervously as you meet his grey eyes.

"What the hell are you looking at?" Levi blurts out without even thinking.

No.

That's not what I wanted to say!

Apologize you idiot!

Levi had been so on guard with his feelings that he had come out billigerent and violent. He was beginning to accept the fact that he had scared you off until you let out the most unique and adorable laugh he had ever heard.

"S-sorry, but you got a little-" you giggle as you swipe at his nose gently; showing him the glob of paint as you bite your lips.

Levi was praying that you wouldn't notice his cheeks, but the paper he had been holding had drawn your attention away from him for a brief second.

"Woah! That's me right? It's really good!" she admires the harsh strokes of his coal sketch of your portrait.

Levi wanted to snatch it away in embarrassment, but you didn't even seem to be bothered by the fact that he had been drawing you.  He watched quietly as your fingers run delicately over his canvas, yet again, staining your fingers.

"Your artwork seems somewhat sad...like you've been left alone by someone." You murmur as you turn your head to him with a soft smile. "You're a really good artist Levi."

His heart doubles in speed as he hears you say his name. He manages to clear his throat before getting up and offering a hand to you. Your skin was surprisingly soft, despite all the water you had just been handling due to the amount of painting you did on a day to day basis. You were extremely close for a brief second, but Levi pulls away quickly before heading on his way; not even caring for the soaked uniform he had on him. You watch him leave as you grin to yourself. Maybe he was a bit of a masochist too.

As he returns from his last lesson of the day, Levi spots a small roll of art paper tied delicately with a silver ribbon. He undos it impatiently and his eyes widen at the spectacular piece of art of himself on the sheet. Every little detail was drawn on with care, and it was amazingly beautiful. He could recognize this art style anywhere. He quickly rolls it back up before his classmates began to question his behavior.

Since you drew me, it's only fair if I drew you right? <3
It was nice meeting you, Mr Machoist!
