You awake to the chirping of the birds outside and squint through the sun rays. You blink your eyes a few times before you could finally see clearly. You slowly lift your arms up to let out a soft yawn while stretching your body like an awakening cat. The sheets felt rather pleasant under your bare body, and you turn around in your bed to be greeted with a heart-melting sight.
Levi was still asleep. You weren't surprised that he wasn't awake yet, mainly because he had a hard day planning and executing missions for the next expedition. On top of that, last night he didn't get much of rest at all, but that's just the way men operate. His face seemed so angelic and innocent when off in dreamland. You felt special to be able to see the scowl-free captain every morning.
You reach over cautiously and sliver your fingers through his soft jet strands of hair. Your lips curl up into a soft smile as his undercut tickles your hand. You then run your light finger along his significant features. His button like nose quivers as he breaths in deeply and you try to stop yourself from giggling. His eyes then open a little as he squints at you in silence. You stare back until a small smile erupts from your face.
"You think this is funny?" He croaks as he scratches the back of his head sleepily. Gosh, his morning voice was sexy.
"Just a little." You giggle and watch as a smile tugs on his lips too before he buries his face into the pillows again.
You scooch closer to him until you are able to wrap your arms around his neck; pulling him into your body for a warm hug. Your goosebumps instantly vanish as you both share each others' warmth for a little while. You feel his hands on your waist as his breath tickles the crook of your neck.
"Alright. I think we should be up by now. It'll be horrible if a captain was late for duty." He murmurs as he tries to pull you off gently, but you latch on to him while letting out a small whine.
"Can we please just stay here for 5 minutes." You pout and hear him sigh before pulling you back into his muscular arms.
"Fine you little brat, but just for 5 minutes and I'm leaving first. I don't want the other cadets to see us leaving together. Or they'll begin to talk." He warns.
"Yessir..." You mumble as you closer your eyes to the sensation of his cool lips on your neck.
