  You still didn't know how it came to this. You left your house thinking of enjoying a nice cup of coffee and a slice of cheesecake, but everything went wrong somehow, and there you were laying in a pile of debris as an explosion wrecks through the cafe.

  You felt your body get blown backwards as the sound of the the outbreak rings in your ears. You don't even feel your body land on the ground, your brain was in shock, yet you could see almost everything that was happening. You also knew that you weren't the only ones in that cafe, as your heart thuds hard against your chest, your eyes finally flutter closed as you pass out.

  You must have passed out for a few minutes, when your consciousness returns you slowly lift your heavy body up with all your strength to be greeted with a horrific sight that almost made you tumble back down on the ground. Around you were people laying on the ground, some where in tact and most of them were missing limbs or a part of their body. The explosion must have taken many lives as you look down at your hand to find it soaked with someone else blood. 

  In fact, your whole body was a mess. You were scratched up and bruised, but the most petrifying component was the amount of blood that was splattered all over your clothes and body. You knew deep down that most of the blood did not belong to you. You swallow with difficulty and in disgust as you limp out the large breach in the wall. The only sounds heard, was the crunching of the glass underneath your shoes, and your own shallow breathing.

  The streets were in complete mayhem. The road had numerous cracks that spread out across the whole avenue like a series of spider webs. Some buildings were missing windows and it looked like parts of the concrete had been chiseled away by something. Police cars and firetrucks were laid astray, and you were the only living morsel on that road at that moment, or so you thought.

"Oh? I'm surprised that even one of you humans have survived." An amused voice titters behind you and you pivot around to see a man dressed in a black costume that resembled something that comes out of a superhero movie. However, it seemed that he had some kind of contraptions connected to his hips and back, along with straps that held it to his small but muscular frame.

"W-who are you?" You call out to him hesitantly as you pull your arms around your chest for the extra security you felt when you did so.

"Levi. I'm known as Levi." He answers smoothly as he begins to walk towards you, he smirks as he notices your body, which automatically tenses up in alarm and fear.

  Before you could even blink, you see something zip past your shoulder with a sound that resembled something that you would hear when zipping up a hoodie. Levi stood right behind you, he was so close that you could hear and feel his breath as he grabs your chin and repositions it on to the view of the burning district.

"It's beautiful isn't it? I plan to make the whole world like this, so humans don't need to die useless." He whispers as a chill runs up your spine.  

  You watch as he stands beside you with his hands behind his back with a maniacal look to his eyes as they narrow. He turns to you slowly and points his blade against your neck. You didn't even realize that he had been holding a pair of deadly blades all this time.

"Humans are useless. It's a shame that you're one of them. They think they're on top of the food chain, they actually think that they rule this world." He chuckles as he runs his finger along the blade.

  He then lifts his long finger up for you to see, you would have expected to see crimson flow from the small cut, but instead, it heals up almost immediately. He smirks again as he watches your reaction.

"You know what I do to the worst of your kind? I slice their napes and let them bleed out. What do you earthlings say again? Ah...yes...karma is a bitch." As he continues, his arm slithers around your waist and you knew that there was no use in struggling.

"Where's your superhero now?" He runs his fingers along your neck before tugging your face towards his lips.

"Come with me, and I'll purge you of your name. Become one of us and I'll show you what it feels like to really be on top of the food chain."
