Peter hadn’t seen you since morning, which really wasn’t that long, but for some reason, he felt starved for your attention. He had caught a glimpse of you in first-period English, but with classes keeping you both busy, he felt like he was running on empty. By lunch, he couldn’t take it anymore.
When he spotted you at your locker, he didn’t waste a second. He swooped in, barely giving you time to notice before he grabbed your hand and tugged you down the hall.
“Peter!” You whisper-shouted, slightly stumbling to keep up. “Where are we going?”
He glanced back, that mischievous glint in his eyes making you both suspicious and excited. “To the back of the library,” he whispered, still dragging you along.
You raised an eyebrow. “The back of the library?” Your voice was a blend of curiosity and amusement, though you tried to keep it low as he led you through the quiet library doors. “Since when are you into reading actual novels?”
Peter rolled his eyes, barely holding back a grin. “Since right now, apparently,” he muttered, pushing forward. He kept a lookout, and finally, after leading you through rows and rows of towering bookshelves, he stopped at a cozy little corner hidden by rows of untouched encyclopedias.
“This… is the couple corner,” he announced in a half-whisper.
“Couple corner?” You snorted, crossing your arms and giving him an incredulous look. “Peter Parker, since when did you—”
But before you could finish, he was pulling you down with him as he sat against the wall. You squealed, stumbling into his lap, where he settled you comfortably against him. “Shhh,” he hushed you, putting a finger to his lips and peeking around like a guilty conspirator.
You tried to squirm away, glancing around for any sign of teachers or the librarian. “Someone’s going to see us, Peter. Mrs. Whitney already gives me the stink eye, and if she catches us like this—”
“No one’s gonna see us,” Peter interrupted confidently, “I told you, it’s the couple corner.” He wrapped his arms around your waist, hands comfortably resting on your lap as you adjusted against him.
You looked around, noticing a few more couples tucked away in similar cozy nooks, some chatting, some definitely not chatting. “Well, well, well,” you said, smirking as you turned back to him. “How’d you find this place, Mr. Parker?”
Peter shrugged, looking away with a casual grin. “I needed a secret spot to be with my amazing girlfriend… and it just kinda appeared,” he replied, feigning innocence.
“‘Appeared like magic,’” you mimicked in an amused tone, shaking your head. “You’re ridiculous.”
He chuckled, his gaze softening as he leaned in closer. “Maybe. Now stop talking and kiss me,” he whispered, looking into your eyes. “I’ve missed you so much.”
You bit your lip, grinning as you settled your hands on his shoulders and turned to face him, straddling his lap. “Fine. Just this once,” you teased, before finally leaning in, pressing your lips to his.
The kiss started sweet and slow, his hands settling against your waist, and yours tangling in his hair. The familiar scent of his cologne, mixed with the faint scent of old books around you, made your heart flutter. Peter’s fingers traced a path up your back, pulling you closer until the kiss deepened, turning more passionate.
You laughed softly as he began peppering light kisses along your jaw and down to your neck. “Peter, I told you—don’t leave any marks,” you whispered, feeling his warm breath against your skin.
He hummed, his lips brushing over your neck as he trailed light nips along the way, clearly not deterred. “Just one,” he mumbled, grinning against your skin, making you chuckle and roll your eyes.

Meanwhile, MJ and Ned were making their way around the school, both of them growing increasingly puzzled by your absence.
“Where could they be?” Ned asked, scratching his head as they passed another empty hallway.
“I swear,” MJ muttered, exasperated. “If they’re hiding out somewhere just to make out—”
“Oh, they probably are,” Ned interrupted with a snicker. “I mean, come on, you know how Peter gets around her.”
MJ rolled her eyes. “Yeah, yeah. Let’s just find them before they miss another class and get detention.”
After searching empty classrooms and gym, they eventually made their way to the library. It was quiet, as expected, and MJ narrowed her eyes, scanning the rows of shelves like she was on a mission.
“Split up,” she whispered to Ned. “We’re not leaving here without them.”
They separated, walking in between shelves until finally, MJ spotted you and Peter slumped against the wall, both of you fast asleep. Peter’s legs were stretched out, your head resting on his chest, and his arms wrapped around you, holding you protectively.
“Oh, you've got to be kidding me,” MJ muttered, standing with her arms crossed. Ned came up beside her and let out a laugh as they looked at the two of you.
“Look at them,” Ned chuckled. “They’re totally passed out.”
MJ rolled her eyes before stepping closer, hands on her hips. “Hey, lovebirds!” She whispered loudly, leaning in to shake Peter’s shoulder. “You guys missed an entire class!”
The sound of MJ’s voice stirred both of you awake, your eyelids fluttering as you slowly registered your surroundings.
“MJ?” Peter mumbled, rubbing his eyes sleepily. “What… what time is it?”
“Oh, wouldn’t you like to know,” she said, raising an eyebrow. “What were you two doing, huh?” Her expression was suspiciously blank, though a knowing smirk played at the corner of her mouth. “Don’t tell me you guys exhausted yourselves by having sex.”
You felt your face heat up as you sat up straighter. “MJ!” You hissed, shooting her an embarrassed glare.
Ned burst into laughter, clapping Peter on the shoulder. “Nice going, man,” he said, still chuckling. “If only you’d left some for study time.”
Peter’s cheeks flushed red as he stammered. “We—we didn’t… I mean, we just… fell asleep, okay?”
MJ sighed dramatically, rolling her eyes as she started back toward the library exit. “Whatever you say, Parker,” she called over her shoulder. “Just don’t come crying to us if Mrs. Whitney catches you two next time.”
You looked at Peter and burst into laughter, shaking your head as he buried his face in his hands, utterly mortified.
