You’ve admired Peter Parker for as long as you can remember. How could you not? He’s cute, smart, a genius, and a kind soul. Every time he walked into a room, you couldn’t help but smile. You wished you could gather the courage to talk to him, but each time you came close, the words stuck in your throat.

Instead, you found another way to express how you felt—a secret admirer’s way. Every day for the past month, you left little sticky notes on his locker when you knew he wasn’t around. It had become your secret ritual, and the small thrill of watching him find your notes was enough to brighten your entire day.

It started as a small, innocent gesture. Just a sticky note, nothing more. You weren’t sure what prompted you to leave that first one on Peter’s locker—it had just happened. There he was, walking down the hall with his usual adorable awkwardness, fumbling with his books, curly hair bouncing slightly as he moved. You’d always admired him from afar: his kind nature, his intelligence, the way he smiled at people even when they didn't notice.

Your hand trembled as you scribbled on the pink sticky note, "You looked cute today." It wasn’t anything big, but you figured it was enough. You stuck it on his locker when he wasn’t around, and you quickly blended into the crowd, pretending like nothing happened.

After lunch, Peter stood by his locker, staring at the little note like it was a foreign object. You peeked from the corner, hiding behind the row of lockers, holding your breath. His face was puzzled at first, his eyebrows furrowed as if trying to figure out if someone was playing a prank on him.

“Hey, Ned,” Peter called to his best friend, showing him the note. “Do you think someone’s messing with me?”

Ned took the note, read it, and grinned. “Dude! I think someone’s got a crush on you.”

Peter’s cheeks flushed, and you could see the shy smile tug at his lips. “Nah, no one likes me like that.”

But you noticed how he carefully tucked the note into his backpack, a small smile still lingering on his face.

After that, it became a habit, almost an obsession, in the best way possible. Every day you left him a note. Sometimes it was as simple as "Good morning, Peter." Other times you complimented him, "Blue suits you a lot." or "Your smile lights up my day." Or "I love your laugh." Each time, you watched from afar, hiding in the background, feeling a warm, secret happiness as Peter’s face would light up when he found another note.

He started looking forward to it. You noticed how he would pause in front of his locker, anticipation dancing in his eyes as he carefully peeled the note off and read it. He would often show it to Ned, and they would talk about it as they walked down the hallway together.

You watched them from around the corner, your heart swelling with pride. You never intended for Peter to find out it was you just yet, but seeing how happy the notes made him was more than enough for now.

“Bro, this secret admirer of yours is totally into you,” Ned teased one day after reading one of your notes.

Peter blushed, but there was a certain excitement in his voice when he responded, “Yeah, I guess she is. But, man, I wish I knew who she is. It’s driving me crazy!”

Ned laughed, patting Peter on the back. “You’ll figure it out, dude. Whoever she is, she’s got great taste.”

You smiled to yourself. Peter was happy, and that was enough for you. But a small part of you started to want more. You wanted him to know it was you. You wanted him to look at you the way he smiled when he read those notes.
