Alessia's pov:

it's already seven thirty in the evening, and i am currently checking myself in the mirror. oks na kaya ito? alam ko naman na maganda na ako noon pa man, pero kasi gusto ko pa ring paghandaan ang first date namin after years of not seeing each other.

korni!

I was about to call Aia, when Von suddenly called me.

"Aia, She got kidnapped"

natahimik ako dahil sa sinabi niya, refusing to believe what she just said, but i know her, she won't joke about this kind of matter.

"papunta na ako dyan"

I am trying my best to stay calm, but my hand are betraying me, fuck! nanginginig ang mga kamay ko sa halo-halong emosyong nararamdaman ko ngayon.

"Now tell me what the hell happened," I demanded, my voice sharp and cold. "I made myself clear to all of you. Your job was to protect her."

The room felt smaller with every word I spoke.

"So tell me," I continued, barely holding back my rage, "what the hell went wrong this time?"

Silence followed. Heavy. Uncomfortable. The kind that only made my anger burn hotter. fuck!

I clenched my jaw, eyes moving from one face to another. "Because this should never have happened," I said coldly. "Not after everything that we did'."

Mike stood before me, shoulders tense, eyes refusing to meet mine. His voice carried the weight of what had been lost.

"Boss," he said, "it was a calculated ambush."

Thirty minutes. That was all it took for everything to fall apart. they are really crossing the line now.

As Mike spoke, I pictured the operation unfolding the way it was supposed to. Trevor and our men tracking Aia, maintaining visual contact, believing control was still in our hands. Then she stepped into the vehicle, and the plan shattered.

we are doing this EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

how did they fucking—fuck!!

Ten unidentified vans flooded the area without warning. More than eighty armed men poured out, moving with precision that spoke of preparation. Our people responded instantly. Trevor fought back. All of them did. By the time the chaos settled, nearly sixty of the attackers were down.
