Jade's POV
Nagtataka na talaga ako sa mga pinaggagagawa ni Althea. Paiba-iba siya ng plano. Ano bang meron?
"Lubb, san ba talaga tayo pupunta? Akala ko iikutin natin yung Palawan? Sayang naman." I pouted since we were on our way somewhere.
"Jade, I think this trip is more important. Bakit nga ba ngayon ko lang 'to naisip gawin? Besides, gusto ko na talaga siya na ipakilala sa'yo." She said while looking at me.
"Huh? Sino ba?" I returned her gaze.
"Si tatay. I want you to meet him. Ipapakilala kita sakanya." She smiled while looking on the window of the car.
Tatay?!
"Your dad?" I gulped. Shit.
"Yeah. Is there something wrong? Ayaw mo ba?" She worriedly asked.
"No, no! Of course I want to meet your father." I smiled at her.
Oh god. Have I even brushed my teeth? I need mouthwash! Help me! I'm not prepared!
"Good. Malapit na tayo. I'm really excited for him to meet you." Sabi niya habang tinitingnan ang phone niya.
Shet. Ikakamatay ko ata 'tong kabang 'to.
Nagpatuloy lang yung byahe namin at halos isang oras na namin tinatahak ang daan. Sobrang layo na namin mula sa lungsod.
I roamed my eyes and was really fascinated with what I'm seeing. The land was wide at puro mga palayan ang nadadaanan namin. There were many horses and carabaos. The view was really nice and we even opened the windows to feel the fresh air.
"Oh how I missed this place." Althea said while cherishing the breeze of the calm weather.
"The place is really soothing. Malayo pa ba tayo?" I asked.
"Nope. Malapit na. Onti nalang." She said.
The car turned and then I noticed na papasok na pala kami. There was a huge gate infront and it opened immediately.
"Cool." I said and Althea grinned at me.
Pumasok na kami and ibinaba kami sa tapat ng isang malaking bahay. Grand was not even enough to describe this place. It was very huge. Mas malaki pa ata ito sa bahay namin sa L.A.
Bumaba na si Althea at hinintay akong makalabas. She immediately held my hand and kissed it.
"Are you ready?" She asked.
"I'm nervous." I honestly said.
"Hindi nangangagat si tatay. He'll like you. I mean, sino bang makakatanggi sa charms mo?" She smiled.
"Puro ka bola!" I blushed.
"Tara na sa loob. Naghihintay na siya sa atin." Sabi niya sabay hila sa akin papasok ng bahay.
Sinalubong kami ng hilera ng mga maids. They were all wearing their huge smiles as if they know me.
"Ma'am Althea, welcome back po!"
"Uy andito na si ma'am!"
"May kasama siya oh! Ang ganda nila parehas!"
"Dios mio, lalong gumanda yung alaga natin! Parang kailan lang!"
Althea hugged each one of them. Grabe din siya no? Halos memoryado niya ang lahat ng pangalan nila. That's how friendly my girlfriend is.
"Nako mga manang! Long time no see! Si Jade nga po pala, girlfriend ko." She quickly held my hand and introduced me to them.
"Wow! Mas maganda siya kesa dun sa dati!"
"Oo nga, walang binatbat yun dito."
"Hello po, ma'am Jade!"
May dinala na siya dito?
