"Yes, Sally. Kakalapag lang ng plane naming. Yes, Yes. I'm fine! Para naman kayong mga magulang ko eh! I can handle myself okay? I will. Bye!" I hung up the call.
I'm finally back after fifteen years. And yes, ang dami na nga talagang nagbago dito. Kahit nga mismong itsura ng NAIA eh naiba na.

"Hey Jade, Call the number that I'll be forwarding. Siya yung isa sa mga kaibigan ko dyan and pumayag na siya na tumira ka sa isa sa mga condo units niya. You'll like her. Mabait sila ng partner niya. Hehe btw, hinahanap ka na samin ni tito Oscar, so I strongly suggest to change your number. Call us when anything happens! We luv u. Take care and enjoy! =)"
I'm so lucky to have them as my friends. Thank you, Lord!
I immediately called the number.
"Hi. I'm Jade, is this Nica's number?"
"Ohh. Are you Sally's friend? She already informed me that you're here to have a vacay. I'll text you the address and go there. We'll be waiting for you."
"Okay. Thank you!" I said.
I got the message and grabbed a taxi to get me to the address which she gave me. Manila has really changed. Ang dami nang building na nakatayo and mas lumala pa nga ata talaga ang traffic. Ohh how I missed this place. Kahit bata pa ako, I have many memories of me and my family in here. It's good to forget things first and be here.
As soon as I entered the building, I went to the information desk and asked for my unit's keys. Pumasok na ako sa room and malaki naman iyon. Sakto na iyon para sa akin. I started unpacking my things when I heard someone knocking on my door.
"Hi! You must be Jade. I'm Nica and this is my partner, Vince." Nica looks nice.
"Yes. Hi. I'm sorry to disturb you ha? Wala lang kasi akong kakilala dito kaya si Sally na ang nag-asikaso. Nice to meet you guys!" I smiled.
"No, no. It's cool. Wala naman na kasing nakatira dito kaya um-oo na ako sa sinabi ni Sally. I hope you enjoy this place. Oh and kung wala ka pang plans, you might want to attend our wedding eh? Hahaha sorry for having no invitations. We only wanted our wedding to be simple. So what can you say?" She said.
"Sure! Wala pa naman akong plans. Kelan ba ang kasal? Congrats to both of you!" I am enjoying their company. They're very accommodating.
"It'll be happening next week. Rush din yung kasal. Hahaha! We just couldn't wait any longer!" Cuties!
"Alright!"
"I'll text you all the details. Nga pala, may isang restaurant dyan malapit sa building na ito and I've got to tell you that their food is oh-so delicious! You might wanna check it out. We have to go. See you at our wedding, Jade!" She grinned.
"Ok. See you!"
I unpacked all my things and went down the convenient store to purchase some of my toiletries and mga pwedeng maluto para naman hindi ako mamatay sa gutom. Bumalik ako sa taas and I took a bath para fresh naman ang feeling ko. I took out my phone and changed my sim. I texted my kuyas and BFFs para malaman nila na I'm okay.
"Hay Jade. What will you do now?" I said while sitting at the couch.
"May isang restaurant dyan malapit sa building na ito. You might wanna check it out."
I remembered Nica said and I immediately stood up to grab my purse.

Wow. Ang ganda naman dito. The place looks plain and nice. The food is also good! Healthy meals ang sini-serve nila dito. Tamang-tama para sa super diet kong katawan.
I was busy taking photos for my IG when I heard someone.
"Tsong, please lang kumanta ka na! Kahit one song lang! ikaw yung nirerequest ng customers natin oh! You've been missing your gigs kaya sige na!" A girl... boy said. Woah. Ano ba talaga?
"Ito na nga diba?! Hay nako talaga Batchi!" So Batchi pala name. Sino kaya 'tong babae?
"Oh sige na go! Andyan na si Kuro. Akyat na dun shooo!" This Batchi is pushing the woman. Hahaha ang cute nila.
The woman stood in front and got her guitar.
"Hi guys! Sorry to keep you waiting. I'll be dedicating this song for those na hinahanap pa ang sarili at ang tao para sakanya" She smiled after.
This girl's hot. Wait, what?

She's closing her eyes as if ramdam na ramdam niya yung song. And when those eyes opened, ours met. Why am I feeling this way? I can feel my breathing getting heavier as if I'm under her spell. I feel like I'm being hypnotized into this amazing feeling.

Nakatingin parin siya sa akin habang kinakanta ang buong kanta. Hindi nawala yung eye contact kaya I can feel all the emotions into that song.

The people were clapping and shouting her name as soon as she ended her song. She looked at me for one last time and after that umalis nadin siya sa harap.
I was supposed to follow her kaya lang pumasok na siya sa kitchen nila. I wasn't even able to get the woman's name.
Someday I would.
After that breath-taking moment, napagpasyahan ko nalang na umuwi na muna sa condo ko at matulog. Pagod padin ako galing sa flight kaya mas minabuti ko nang matulog nalang. I'll think of a better plan pagkagising ko.
Well atleast, my first day here went well.
