Sinimulan ko ang storya dahil sa paghanga sa Rastro. Hindi ko man sila nakikita sa personal pero yung paghanga ko sakanila, ibang-iba. This is my first time. A lot of firsts happened because of TRMD. I never imagined admiring local artists but GDC and Yoyon were surely the best artists I've known so far.
Yes, I was inspired. I was deeply moved by the reality the LGBT community has been going through. The show was an eye-opener to an unequal reality. Reality speaking, some would really criticize my work because of its theme - same love. But isn't it a story worth looking into?
Are happy endings only for heterosexuals?
Is love only for man and woman?
There is an unending cycle of acceptance and denial. Acceptance must be given and so is equality.
I am straight but my views are liberal. I totally respect them and I believe that in time, all will be given respect.
Because after all, love would always be universal; love would always win.
I'm thanking all the people who are respecting this story.
At dahil dito, salamat sa mga nagbasa, nagmahal, napadaan lang, namangha, kinilig, nagcomment, nagvote, nagshare ng story sa kapwa rebel, at patuloy na sumusubaybay sa kwento ng Jathea! Many things are still going to happen and let's just pray that it'll be Jathea 'til the end.
