Jade's POV
Naglalakad na kami pabalik ng mansion at halos magmukha akong aso dahil sumusunod lang ako sa kanila. Eh mas mukha pa silang jowa kesa sa amin eh.
"Kailan ka pa bumalik dito? Hindi ka man lang nagsabi sa akin!" She said as she slapped my girl's arm.
Kung makapulupot naman ng kamay! Ikaw ba girlfriend?!
"Kakarating lang namin ngayon eh. Biglaang bisita since I wanted Jade to meet tatay." She smiled at her.
"Oohh, so did tatay liked her?" She asked.
Malamang? Bakit ka nakiki-tatay?!
"Absolutely. Tuwang-tuwa siya because of her." Althea answered as she looked at me and smiled.
Yep, I'm her girl.
"Good to know. Tatay didn't really like the woman you brought years ago. He wasn't really fond of her." Cathleen said.
Who's the girl?
"Okay na 'yon, tapos na eh. I'm happier with Jade." She stated and I almost melted.
"Nga pala, kelan ka bumalik from Singapore? Akala ko talaga wala ka dito. Tatay didn't tell me na andito ka." Althea said.
"Kakabalik ko lang last week. Piyesta kasi and I really don't want to miss it. I'm sure that it'll be more enjoyable since you're here." They both looked at each other and smiled.
Jelly alert!
Nagmadali akong naglakad para makasabay sa kanila. I held Althea's hand and she immediately looked at me.
"Is there a problem?" She asked.
"No. I just wanted to hold you. I like holding you." I said.
"You better be. Mamaya may maka-agaw niyang sa'yo." Cathleen commented.
Okay, was that a threat?
"Cath!" Althea warned.
"I'm sure na Althea won't leave me." I proudly stated. Calm yourself, Jade.
"How can you be so sure?" Cathleen mocked.
"I don't need assurance. I just know." I said as I made my way inside the house.
Nanay Isay welcomed us and ushered us to the dining room since it's already time for lunch.
"Nako nak, hindi daw muna kayo masasabayan ni sir dahil may kailangan pa daw siyang gawin para sa piyesta mamaya." Nanay Isay explained.
"Okay lang po. Ano po ba mga activities mamayang hapon? Gusto ko po sana ilibot si Jade." She said.
"We'll be having eating contests and street games for both adults and kids. I can tour you since I'm one of the planners of the events!" Cathleen happily offered.
Kelangan talaga kasama ka?!
"May misa rin mamaya para sa prusisyon sa gabi. Magsimba kayo ha?" Nanay Isay said.
"Sige po. Tatandaan po namin 'yan. Kain na po tayo!" Althea said.
Nagsimula na kaming kumain at halos seafood ang putahe na meron sa lamesa. Althea happily got some crabs and binibigyan niya ako ng laman. I reciprocated the act by giving her some of the shrimps na nabalatan ko nadin. We were all eating by hand kaya naman mas masarap.
"Babe, here oh, take some of my shrimps. May squid din ito." Cathleen offered.
"I'm fine. Binibigyan na ako ni Jade." Althea replied.
