Jade's POV
I stayed inside of our room for the rest of the day. It's almost six in the evening at hanggang ngayon ay wala parin si Althea. I'm starting to get worried. Kanina pa siya umalis at ni isang text ay wala akong nareceive mula sakanya. Saan nanaman kaya nagpunta 'yon?
At tsaka, akala ko ba bonding? Eh iniwan mo lang rin naman ako dito.
I was busy checking the tv channels when I got a text from an unknown number.
"In a world where everything changes instantly, one must seize the day."
"Huh?" Kumunot ang noo ko pagkabasa ng message.
What should it mean?
My phone got another message and I immediately read it once more.
"But how could an individual cherish each possible moment? How could one enjoy it?"
I was really getting curious and so I hit reply.
"Who are you?" I sent the message hoping that I'll be able to get a reply immediately.
"I'm nobody. Without you."
Naiinis na'ko kaya naman hindi ko nalang pinansin yung message. Pumunta ako sa kitchen at uminom ng tubig. I checked my phone again at nakatanggap parin ako ng message.
"Always stubborn." It says.
"Look, kung sino man 'to, please iba nalang guluhin mo. I'm not in the mood for your stupid lines." I said.
"Go out and get some fresh air. You must be looking for something - someone I should say?"
That's it. Tumayo na ako at iniwan ang phone ko para lumabas at hanapin si Althea. Kanina pa siya wala. Ganon ba talaga kaimportante 'yong gagawin niya?
"Excuse me, nakita mo ba si Althea?" I asked the guard.
"Nako ma'am hindi ko na po siya napansin. Kanina po nakita ko siya na paalis eh." He answered.
"Ah, salamat nalang." I said.
Naglakad ako papunta sa tabi ng pool at mayroon akong nakita sa upuan kaya nilapitan ko iyon.
There was a bouquet made of Timtams and a note was inserted on it.
"Sabi ko naman sa'yo maglakad-lakad ka diba?" The note says.
I sighed.
Althea.
Tumingin ako sa likod ng upuan at may nakita akong path na may mga maliliit na nakasinding kandila.
Sinundan ko iyon at may nakita akong note. Wala nading candles na nakasindi sa kung saan nakalagay ang mga ito.
"LEaving clues For you To discover. ;)"
"Ang gulo ng sulat." I told myself.
The note was bugging me and I was really trying to decode the message. I noticed that there were capitalized letters kaya naman pinagsama-sama ko ang mga iyon.
"Left." I whispered to myself.
Kumaliwa ako and there I was able to see my girl smiling at me. I immediately ran towards her, giving her a tight hug.
"Let me breathe." She said as I punched her arm.
"Ouch?! What was that for?!" She complained.
"I'm sorry. I was worried about you! Wala akong natanggap na text mula sa iyo!" I demanded.
