For the life of me I don't know why you asked for a drawing of Dirk to that anon but HERE U GO. I quickly sketched so it's not good

My art is trash

I am trash

M'sorry.

ANYWAYS.

LETS GET ON WITH LE STORY.

ROLL FILM.

How could it be so clean if she was just wearing it covered in blood.

"Are you okay..?!" Your sister and Dirk both asked at the same time.

You turned around and there stood the two in your door frame.

You smiled weakly. "I'm okay..." You put the sweater down. "I don't know what came over me... I think I'm just sleepy.." You fake yawned.

It was a good fake yawn.

Dirk and Lindsay exchanged looks of concern and then your sister nodded.

"A..alright.. If you say so..." She hugged you and then let you go.

You looked around and then sat on your bed when they left.

You ran your fingers through your hair.

"I'm sorry friend."

"Brooke it is you.."

"You've called me Brooke for awhile... Why are you so surprised..?"

"I was trying to convince myself you where. That I was imagining your voice and your speech.. Just like her.. That it was in my head.."

"I am far from your imagination.."

You looked around.

"I'm beside you.."

You turned around and there she was on your bed. Looking just like she did.

You wanted to run and hug her. But that wasn't your Brooke. That was a figure that followed you. You wouldn't ever be able to handle this. To handle thinking that was her.

You looked back to the floor. "Why are you dressed so bloodily.." You asked.

"I am stained in the clothes and fashion I died in.."

It made sense.

"I followed you from your house.

There was a paranormal being in there

The whispering.. In your ear that night. That thing that lied on top of you and whispered for its child.. That was not me. and I know what you're thinking. It wasn't my mother either.

But the thing that ran down the hallway that night. Those steps you heard. That WAS me. I had to lurk around to see if I could help you and I was too late. You'd already passed out..." She explained.

A shiver ran down your spine at the thought of what even was on you that night. It was awful and stressful and you feared for your life.

"The burning down of your house was from it too.."

"What happened..?" You spoke up.

"Over 20 years ago. A women had recently divorced her husband and was left with the child.

The baby more like. It was hardly a year old.

She sort of went crazy after she started picking up drugs and burned the house down. With her and her child in it.

Later on the house was rebuilt.. And everyone whose ever lived in that house has left after recently experiencing supernatural moments.

You and your sister must've stayed longer. Because she's never gotten the chance to actually burn the house down again.

You where lucky you weren't inside when the fire started.

And boy.

You should have seen the look on Dave's face. I remember staying with him for a day to see how he lived. Since you where gone.

He was so excited to go see if you where home.

And he ran outside with such joy in his hidden eyes but stopped dead in his tracks when he noticed the large burning flames engulfing your house.

He ran home for Dirk and they quickly rushed out. By this point the police had arrived and wouldn't let them go any further to the house.

They didn't know if you where home or not.

They where both terrified." Her voice didn't seem much like hers anymore. She sounded sort of dead and blank. Like she had no need for a tone anymore.

And it was truly scary and uncomforting.

"Why are you telling me this."

"I thought you would like to know that man really cares for your sister and that boy *really* cares for you.."

You rubbed your arm.

Hearing her voice that wasn't hers was depressing you out even more.

"I want to go to bed."

"I understand best friend.."

You moved around and watched your friend sit on the floor. And you curled up and slowly drifted to sleep.

--
*Next night*

It was 2:17 AM.

You where asleep

But Dave was not. No he recently had a nightmare that scared him deeply.

In a nutshell you had died in your sleep. You where stressed, worried, depressed, tired. And while some of that was true he was on edge.

Currently he was sitting on your floor just watching you sleep like a creeper.

Hearing your breath. It was so quiet in the room he could hear his own heart beat.

Dave was a cool person. He didn't often lose his cool over just anything. He wasn't easily scared or put on edge.

But right now he feared.

You, for whatever reason where woken up. And looked around your room. Not knowing the little Dave was sneaking around.

"You're awake..." You heard.

"What woke me up..." You sat up and rubbed your head.

"Your dream.. You where having a cute dream. I bet it's nice to take a break.."

"It was far from any sort of dream.

Brooke it was a nightmare.."

"Really..? From your body movement I assumed it was something good."

"It was you .. In your house. We where in your room. And you kept violently shaking .. Me.. And you kept telling me to save you."

You got up to turn on the lights.

You made your way to the door to find the switch and flipped it on.

You turned around to head to your bed but stopped and SCREAMED BEXAUSE YOU HAD NO IDEA THAT DAVE WAS IN YOUR ROOM AND HE WAS JUST STANDING RIGHT BEHIND YOU.

tHANK THE HEAVENS IT WASNT A LOUD SCREAM MAN YOU COULD HAVE WOKEN YOUR SISTER UP.

"DAVE." You clutched your heart.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING MAN HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN THERE.." You tried to catch your breathing because he literally almost gave you a heart attack.
