"Calm the FUCK down!" You slapped your sister.
She looked up at you from her hyperventilation mess.
You where at work with her at the moment. It was Saturday. You complained of your boredom and she said you could tag along. She was freaking out over something due yesterday. She calmed down, after you had to bitch slap her anxiety away, but hey, what're siblings for?
You found that Dirk no longer sat in the same spot across from your sister. Which you supposed was good. For the awkward situation. How long had he been gone? Maybe since that promotion? Which made sense. He was very intelligent.
You also remembered this was the place you first officially met Dave. He was so kind to you from then on, that flirtatious bastard. You never got the realist of opportunities to see Your sister flirt with someone else. Maybe she didn't flirt. Maybe she was the one getting hit on. She sorta sucks at paying attention to everything in life, not revolving around working well.
She was currently busy writing rapidly.
<<;)>>"Can I go explore?" You asked, sort of kicking around your foot. You wanted to go around because soon that Kane would be here and you didn't care to see him interact with Lindsay.
"As long as you don't bother anyone, okay?" She looked up to you. You smiled and nodded. She looked back down and continued working on whatever she did.
You got up from your seat next to her and began for the doors at the end of this room. They would lead to a hallway type area. Plenty of other rooms here, but the one you where in now was the largest, with a large group of people in it.
You pushed open a door and looked to your left to find a bank of elevators.
You decided to go up a floor and see what lied there. Floor number 7.
When the elevator went up, it stopped on the next floor. You patiently waited for the doors to open, and when they did you where surprised. This floor looked just like the one below but it seemed... Friendlier.
The set up was the same. A few random rooms and a large room. Where everyone worked. Except the sign above the doors didn't read "Entertainment." It read "Graphic"
You stared up at the door wondering if you should go in. If it was anything like the floor your sister worked on, there would be people working. So you shouldn't go in.
"(Name)?"
You heard your name being called. You jumped slightly and turned to find Dirk. That man has the voice of someone who would become a masked murderer, though it was rather nice."Oh hi!" You smiled at him. He didn't smile back. "Why are you here?" He tilted his head out of confusion. "Oh, I'm with Lindsay. I got bored and decided to wonder a bit."
"This isn't even her floor."
You paused. "Is it yours? I thought you worked down there. On the 6th floor."
He shook his head. "No, I work up here now as a floor manager""Oh hell, Dirk! That's cool, a manager. I bet that's nice."
"It's alright." He sort of shrug-smiled.
"Well, I don't have a lot to do, do you want me to show you around this lovely graphics designing floor?" He smiled a bit more. You nodded. "Yeah sure!"
He put a hand on your shoulder and guided you to the doors, opening them. "Wow... This is a lot smaller of a room than the one below." You said, yet still admiring the nice designing on the walls and the care put into the room.
