~*OH LORD A CAUTION WARNING SNAP DIDDLE *~

This chapter will probably get a little graphic! I don't think it's crazy enough as to if you couldn't read because you're so vulnerable to blood even being mentioned, but if you are well then

Pff idk that sucks?
Anyways yeah.
There also maybe triggers?

The parking garage had probably always been terrifying. You felt bad for the poor parking garage. It probably was lovely at one point but now it is not. Just like the top floor, where the stairs are for the roof, the lights flickered occasionally. The light fixture hung down from the ceiling. Also it was dim. You always felt uneasy coming down here.

"Why is parking garages so utterly terrifying?" You asked your sister, staying close to her.
She shrugged. "Maybe it's just the night that illuminates the scary."

You both walked in silence as you noticed a man dressed in dark clothes walk by.

He gave you an uneasy feeling.
He made his way past you two and not far behind him, was another man. He wasn't dressed so dark, and you relaxed as he got closer. "So," you began to your sister. "What if-"
You where cut off by this man grabbing your arm tightly and pulling you away. He began running and before you could scream, he put a hand over your mouth.

Before he could make it far, your sister grabbed his arm and forced him back, luckily she landed a hit on his jaw, but he didn't seem to flinch. He dropped you, after you squirmed in his grip, and returned the favor by slamming his fist into her throat. He kicked her shin really hard to send her to the ground, meanwhile you tried to run away. He was far faster than you and easily made you trip and skid on the floor.

Lindsay ignored the pain in her body and got up, running after the man and kicking the bent on his back leg, the nerve twitched and sent him down too. This was your opportunity to get up. Your sister grabbed your hand and you both ran for the next floor which held the bank of elevators.

She was also faster than you, but held onto your wrist and forced you to keep up. You didn't hear running but you made it for the next floor, luckily.

You kept going with your sister right beside you. You where close to the elevators, they where in sight.

You ran to them, picking up speed, but this damn guy slid in front of them, he must have found a shorter way.

He looked angry, his jaw looked already slightly bruised from the hit your sister must've landed.

In his hands he held a bat. You both stopped and began for the other direction, but he ran after you, easily catching up.

You heard a swing and your sister tripped, hitting the floor. He stopped and hit her again, straight in her head.
"Lindsay!" You skidded to a stop. She wasn't moving. Blood practically flowed out of the side of her head, and spilled onto the ground. He looked up at you and pulled the bat back, running towards you.

"Hey, HEY!" You heard a guy yell. It was the man from before. With the dark clothes, who gave you an uneasy feeling.

Before the man could catch up you felt a hard piece of wood collide with the back of your skull. You hit the ground and completely blacked out.
---
You woke up and felt a complete pounding in your head.

"Oh my God you're awake!"

You felt warmth on your right hand. You rubbed your eyes and tried to sit up, but whoever was holding your hand, pushed you back down to lay. Your eyes fixed and you found Dave standing right beside you.

You where in a hospital bed.

In a hospital.

You groaned and held your head.

You felt his grip on your hand tighten.
His face was a bit pink. He also didn't have his sunglasses on. They where hanging from his shirt.

"Dave..?"

He smiled a little. He pulled your hand up slightly.

"Oh god what happened?" You asked, lifting your free hand to your head.

Dave frowned. "We got a call about an hour and a half ago. A man had ... I guess .. Hit you.. With a baseball bat. I wasn't able to get much detail, but they called Dirk and he and I came up here. Some man had luckily been there to fight the guy off and call the police. I'm not sure what happened to either of them."

And suddenly you remembered everything. You remembered he grabbed you. You remember your sister fought him off for a moment. You remember seeing your sister lying on the floor being practically covered in her own blood, and you remember everything going black.

"Oh my god.." You mumbled. You looked at Dave and tightened your grip on his hand. "Dave where is my sister? Please tell me she's alright.."

Dave only blinked.

"I.. I don't really know. I've been by your side."

You felt your heart pick up in speed.

A nurse walked in. "Oh-!" She stopped in her tracks when she saw you. "You're awake! Well that's wonderful!"

She came by your side to check your vitals you suppose. You didn't know much but she was running random tests? Your head hurt.

"My sister. Is she alright?"

The nurse paused. "I don't work in the ICU, love." She frowned. "I'm so sorry." She continued what she was doing.

"If you want," she said as she wrote something down, finishing whatever she was doing. "you can go see her. You're doing just fine! We still need you here but it's alright if you want to get up and walk around."

You nodded. "Do you know where the ICU is?"

"I can take her." Dave chimed in. She nodded. "Alright." She smiled and left.

You noticed that you still had your clothes on.

Dave walked to the other side and slowly helped you out.
"Dave I know how to walk."

"Just let me reassure myself." He said, holding on to you once you stood. Suddenly your head was at a pounding again. You held on to it. Dave had his arm around your waist, keeping you standing. Honestly, if he wasn't standing there holding you, you probably would have fell.

You looked into a mirror an found that on the side of your head was a large bruise. Near your temple. That must have been where you where hit.

Dave held on to you as he showed you to the ICU, luckily not crazy far from where you where. "Where is Dirk..?" You asked, trying to distract yourself.

"With your sister."

You kept walking. Trying not to focus too much on it. You felt slow, but Dave didn't seem to mind.

"In the ICU? I thought that was immediate family only."

"Well, he was in her emergency contacts. That's why he was called."

You could feel the pressure on your head where the bruise is. It was painful nonetheless, but you wanted to see your sister. Hopefully she was awake and alright.
