Everything was slowly falling back into place. Your sister was getting along very kindly with Dirk and that was the final piece. You liked it better when you all lived together, like a cute little family. Sometimes John and Kendall would both come over and it was just a better time.

You rested your head on Dave's chest. His arm was wrapped around your shoulders. He had been asleep for a few hours and so had you. Except now you're awake and surely he would be soon.

You were in his house on the living room floor. It was just you two. You had spent the day together. The entire Saturday. It was around 4 now.

Yes, a whole week had gone by. Nothing really interesting had happened though. It was just basic normal days throughout the entire week.

Except for the lovely day when Lindsay had finally confessed her pregnancies. She said his reaction was really cute, which gave you the satisfaction of 'I told you so.'

Dave was really excited too. He stated it only once, at one time during last week, but from there one he would sometimes mention it and sometimes react to it and it was just adorable.

You sat up. Your body felt stiff and you could no longer lie down doing nothing. Dave stirred slightly. His shades were off and next to him. His eye still looked bad. Bruised around the entire eye. His shades covered it well, but it still looked painful. He was very pre-cautious on anyone touching it. He said it hurt and he didn't like anyone near him just in case. He had to take care of it really well so it didn't infect his eye or anything. Which, Dave had no idea how to, so luckily Dirk knew how. You watched him do it last night. He put some sort of solution? Thing? On his eye. Also eye drops, that happened too.

It looked painful as hell. You cringed watching. Dave had no problem accepting whatever Dirk was doing but had that been you, you would have lost it at the eye drops.

((Shout out to all the kids who wear glasses and attend an eye doctor and then they dilate your eyes with these eye drops and life is pain.))

You moved over and carefully lied Dave's head in your lap. He looked uncomfortable, so maybe this would help?

A good ten minutes passed before he finally awoke. He stirred a bit in your lap, but eventually sat up.

He ran his hands through his hair and smiled at you.
"Good morning." You smiled.

"It's like.. 4 in the afternoon."
You shrugged.
He laughed and pressed his lips against your cheek before standing up, and going for his shades.

"Does it hurt a lot..?" You asked, standing up with him. You grabbed his arm before he could lift them to his face, and examined again.

He shrugged. "Sometimes. If you put pressure on it then yeah."

You lifted your hand up to his cheek and moved his face to the left to slightly see it from a different angle.

He leaned forward and softly kissed you. You put your hand down, in fear of further action would hurt him. He pulled away and slipped the sunglasses unto his face.

"So are you excited to be an aunt?" He asked, stretching slightly. He had a cute little smile.
You nodded. "I have been waiting."

".. For a niece? Or nephew.. Either or ..."

You nodded.
"Yes actually! And for my sister to find someone who can provide help of making this child who isn't a bad person."

Dave laughed. "I'm glad. I support it."
"Premarital sex?"

"I.. Well.." He stopped for a minute. ".. No like .. No I .. Not that."

You laughed and hugged him, resting your head on his chest. He wrapped his arms around your back. You both stood there for a moment.

"I wish she would have told him sooner. Mainly so he wouldn't have invited her to a bar.."
Dave laughed.
--
"OH MY GOD." Dirk said, slamming his hand on the table that Lindsay was working at.

"What?" She jumped slightly, looking up at him.

"IT IS ONLY NOW HITTING ME THAT I BEGGED YOU TO GO DRINKING WITH ME ONLY AWHILE AGO. AND YOUVE GOT A BABY IN YOU."

Lindsay laughed slightly.
"It's okay, it made you happy. When .. When you were drunk at least..."
--
You laughed along with Dave.

He pulled away and stretched again.
"Floors hurt my back.." He said, popping his spine. You cringed slightly. "Oh goodness.. Meanwhile I love sleeping on the floor. It worries my sister though..." You shrugged. "I still do it."

Dave smiled.
"If it worries her then why continue doing it?"
You shrugged.
"In my opinion, it's pretty darn comfortable."

He walked to the couch and picked up the familiar blanket that had random apples scattered around it. He wrapped himself up in it and then dropped to the floor and lied there.

You laughed and sat down next to him. "I thought you didn't like the floor?"

"If I lie on the couch, you can't lie next to me."

You smiled. You pecked his forehead. He looked kind of like a caterpillar because his arms were incased in the blanket.

"You look like a caterpillar."

"I am a caterpillar."

"Dave-"
"The caterpillar is my spirit animal."

"You-"
"In my spirit lies a majestic caterpillar."

You opened your mouth to say something but instead decided to let him go on.

"I am one with the caterpillar. Hello mother fucker I am a caterpillar."

He began to roll around on the floor.

"I am a cATE R PI LLAR."

You fell to your back and started uncontrollably giggling. Dave made his way to you by rolling and started rolling into you. "Love me, (Name)."

You laughed. "I can't love a caterpillar."

"Love me. My spirit is one with the caterpillar King."

"DavE."
You held on to your sides. All of this was spoken in such a blank tone by him. He lied there for a minute and stared at the ceiling.

"Why am I dating you.." You joked after you calmed down. He turned his head and stared at you.

"No one leaves the caterpillar."
