You were excited to visit your sisters work again. She decided to bring you in with her on this day.

Also she was promoted to the next floor which is Graphic Designing. You were a proud young sibling. It was always fun jumping in with your sister and going with her to her job. It was fun to watch her. You didn't know the difference between the floors and what jobs they had specifically, but it would be nice to find out.

She parked her car and both of you got out. You didn't forget how tall the building stood.
Your sister had a smile on her face.

"Why do you look so excited?" You asked.
"Do you remember my really good friend, Katelyn?" She asked.

You perked up at that name.
"The one with the short hair and glasses like yours?"

She nodded.
"My very good chum, pal, buddy, friend."

You nodded. "I remember."
"Awhile ago, she moved here. She got transferred to this building, and today is her first day here. Working. And we share a desk like Dirk and I used to have. And I'm just. I miss my friend. I'm very, very excited."

Your sister didn't jump up and down with great joy like she normally would, since she was in a public place, and she had to act like a real adult.

"When does she get here?" You asked, walking in. "I'm not sure." She answered. You two walked down the lobby to reach the elevators.

You both made your way up to the floor of graphic designing, which you believed was the seventh floor.

You rode in a comforting silence as the elevator took its time up.

Once you left the elevator, a bunch of people stepped on, greeting your sister before they left.
Your sister dragged her bag on her back.
You had to walk down the long hallway to reach the doors that led to the large room.

But before you both could reach the doors, your sister was stopped at a "Hey Lindsay."

You both turned to find the tallest of Striders, catching up to you two.
That's also when you remembered, Dirk had been promoted to a floor manager.
"Hello love!" She excitedly waved, and stood, waiting for him. She was really really excited.

He caught up and wrapped an arm around your shoulders, having to lean down to actually hug you.

God damn height differences.

Though you didn't feel as bad because he also had to lean down to hug your sister.
"Hey, (Name)." He greeted you. He let go and put an arm on top of your head, leaning down on you.
