Frerin's P.O.V.

Thorin paces back and forth in the dining hall. I clear my throat, he quickly stops and looks up. "Edlyn is going crazy Thorin, she said that you've barely said anything to her since last week!"

"Where is she?"

"Visiting her father...Thorin she was really upset this morning. This girl loves you...I can tell she is hurting. You needn't worry about grandfather so much there is nothing we can do!" I yell. His face saddens. "Plus, you are hurting someone else you love by all this worry!"

"I didn't realize-"

"Because you have been so caught up in grandfather!"

"She probably hates me..." He scoffs.

"She doesn't, she is afraid you're depressed Brother."

"I just worry about Thror..." He sits down. "I also fear that I'll rush things with Edlyn, I want to go so much further with her. I'm scared that it may ruin things." That's when I walk around the table and sit next to him. I lift my brow and look at him.

"Marriage?"

"No!" He sighs.

"Oh! You want to sleep with her?" I watch as my brother's cheeks grow red when I say it.

"Yes...but I've never been intimate with someone like that."

"Has she?"

"No..." I smile.

"How in Durin's name do you know that?" I ask starting chuckle.

"Long story..." His cheeks just become redder than they already are. He starts playing with his rings nervously.

"You asked her!?"

"No I did not ask her, how unmannerly that would be! She told me..."

"Thorin...all you have to do is ask her if she wants to take the relationship any further?"

"Then that makes it sound like marriage." He groans. "She might want to wait until marriage...I should wait until marriage."

"It's your decision Brother," I stand up and push the chair in. "When she comes back you need to talk to her." He nods and smirks a little. I then leave the room.
