What wonderful things we once had...were now lost. Cindy gave birth to a beautiful little girl naming her Clarien and Milly gave birth to a girl as well naming her Lezarin. We all lived in Laketown now, what a beautiful city it was too until over the years hardship hit it then, it became a dark, gloomy city. 20 years and I still wonder about the dwarf I once ran the halls of Erebor with. I wonder about his family and if his mind ever drifts to me. I look out the window at The Lonely Mountain for 20 years it has sat abandoned...lifeless. I get up from the chair rubbing the ring and going to the room where my best friend lays on her death bed. Milly gives me a smirk.
"Keep an eye on Lez for me..." She breaths. Tears well up in my eyes.
"You know I will." Ardy sits next to her with his head down crying into her arm.
"I love you Ed..."
"I love you too..." I say watching her fade away. When she finally rests in peace and I leave the room Lez stands there with tears streaming down her face.
"Was it peaceful?" She asks and I nod. She quickly throws her arms around me hugging me tightly. Her sobs fill the room. Ardy pulls us into his arms comforting us. I know the next few days are going to be hard for us...especially Lezarin.
