"Thorin!?" I call and he stops turning slowly around.
"I cannot bare this any longer!" He shouts clenching his fists in anger. Frerin comes out with Dis, he runs up to his brother trying to calm him down. Thorin tries to push him away, then both of them start shouting and fighting. Dis stands there with hair hanging over her face. I walk over to her pulling her close to me.
"Let's fix your hair." I say pulling her close to my side. We go to her room but when we get there she starts crying. I kneel down to her pushing long brown locks out of her face. "Dis what is wrong?"
"Grandfather is going to banish brother!"
"He won't...that won't happen, come on." I pull her to a chair sitting down as she sits in my lap. I brush her hair out and braid it down her back she's quiet the whole time. Once I finish she gets up and turns to me.
"Thank...if it's not too much to ask I'd like to be alone now."
"Not at all." I get up kissing her head. I then leave the room and walk down the hall. Thorin rounds the corner.
"I apologize...I didn't mean to shout..."
"I understand but your sister is upset about everything, I think you should talk to her." I smile. "She broke out into tears..." His face saddens and he quickly runs to her room shoving the doors open. I slide down the wall thinking of Milly and Ardy...even Cindy. I miss them so much and it's only been a few days living in Erebor. I watch the doors to Dis's room waiting for them to open. The doors finally open after 15 minutes, I stand up. He walks over to me his eyes red and watery.
"Follow me." I grab his hand walking with him back to the room. When we get in the room he shuts the door leaning against it. When he looks to me tears start running down his face.
"Thorin..." I rush to him but he holds his hand out.
"Edlyn...don't."
"Thorin, I can't stand here and watch you fall apart because of one person! Please let me hold you, hug you, kiss you..." I run over to him wrapping my arms around him smothering his lips with mine. My thumbs wipe his tears away. His arms wrap around me as well. He pulls away from me, I grab his hand pulling him to the bed.
