"You have grown extremely fond of my younger sister." I look over at him to see that he is smiling

"I have a soft spot for children plus, she has a great personality for a little girl."

"Even though she is spoiled and a complete pain, I'd have to say the same." He scoffs. Both of us walk quietly the rest of the way to his room. Once we get there he pushes the doors open. I step in the room and turn around.

"Thank you...I really mean it." I smile softly.

"Anything for a guest..." He bows then starts to shut the doors but I grab them.

"Let me stay...if you don't like me as a ser-"

"I will not have you as a servant girl Edlyn! You belong with your father...Milly...Ardy! There are things here that you needn't see..." I feel a knot starting to form in my throat.

"Like what?" I whisper.

"That is none of your concern! Get some rest we leave at dawn." My heart is thumping in my chest. Every since I ran into Thorin at the autumn festival I've grown very fond of him. I don't even know why because he can be completely rude at times but for some reason I like it. I don't think I want to stay in Erebor to find out if there is a sickness that lies upon it...I want to stay because of him...I exchange looks with the prince once more before letting go of the handles. When he pulls the door shut the sound from it echoes in throughout the room. It shutters through y body as I stare at the large doors for a minute before turning to the bed.

I'm becoming too attached to this kingdom, dwarves are starting to become my business when they aren't supposed too...but Thorin is right I shouldn't just leave my family and shouldn't have done it tonight. I climb in the bed sinking into it slowly, the pillows smell of lavender. I squeeze my eyes shut trying to rid the thought of leaving Erebor again.
