Thorin and I walk in silence. His hair is still wet from his bath and he smells of lavender. His large hand in mine as we walk down the hall.

"I thought they had already come?"

"They had to cancel..."

"Thorin is this really necessary? A new dress...I am not royalty. I am a citizen of Dale." He scoffs.

"Not anymore Ed...you are a citizen of Erebor." I pull my hands from his and stop walking. He turns to me.

"Can't we take this whole royalty thing slower! Your father is already talking of Queen Under The Mountain!" I cross my arms. "I don't know I left my friends and family for just royalty!" Thorin cups my face in his hands.

"If you want I will put you in the most casual dress there is My Love...please don't be upset. You will look beautiful to me either way." He smiles a little, I slide my hands on his. "Or if you cannot take this anymore I will take you home..." His face saddens and I grip his hands tighter.

"No Thorin...I came back here for you I am staying here because I love you! I will not be separated from you!" I can feel my eyes water a little. "If I am your princess then I will stand by your side wearing the most magnificent dress the tailor has to offer..."

"Are you sure...? I will not force you to do something you do not want to do."

I pull back and curtsy. "Anything for a future king..." When I look back to eye level a small smile is on his face. He holds his hand out and I grab it once more. When we make it to the tailor's a small Dwarvish woman pulls me to a pedestal starting to get measurements. Thorin leans against the wall with his arms crossed. They then drag me to the back after they get my measurements. The Dwarvish women compile dresses together that are my size. I look at Thorin and he just smiles.

"There are so many..."

"What color would you want?" He asks.

"I don't know!?" He looks at a green dress then to me.

"What is your defining color...?" I scoff and then start giggling.

"What is that supposed to mean Thorin?"

"What color best suits you...I typically go for blues. My brother goes for greens." He looks at different dresses.

"Violet...I have this robe back home-"

"The one you wore at the autumn festival?" He asks pulling out a beautiful dark purple dress with a silver embroidered pattern.

"Yeah...I'm surprised you remember it." I say staring at the dress he's holding. He hands it to me.

"Why would I forget anything about when I first met you...?" I smile and then walk off to go try the dress on.
