I Don't Want You To Get Hurt - Jeremy

Here you were sitting home alone...again waiting for your boyfriend Jeremy to get back

You were staring at the blank TV screen going through all the different scenarios that could've happened to make Jeremy not answer his phone.
He could be talking to someone important, maybe he couldn't find his phone, and maybe he's... dead

You couldn't help but think that, he was out vampire hunting with Damon and Stefan and he was supposed to be home at 8:00 PM and now it's 1:30 AM

All your thoughts were cut short when you heard the door open and close

"Where have you been?" You said through clenched teeth

You probably shouldn't have been so harsh but you were so worried about him and the least he could've done was call or text you saying he was alright

"I was Vampire hunting. What's your problem?" He asked confused

"My problem is the fact that you were supposed to be home at eight and now it's one thirty. You could've called or texted me." You said through clenched teeth

"I WAS OUT AND I LOST TRACK OF TIME STOP BEING SO FUCKING CLINGY"

You were definitely taken aback. Jeremy never yelled, cussed or called you any names before. Yeah maybe you shouldn't have approached the situation like that but you never expected him to lash out at you like that

You looked down not wanting him to see the tears that instantly filled your eyes

He let out a sigh and put a finger under your chin so your eyes me his

"Look babe you know that I didn't mean to say that. I just don't know you're acting like this."

"I don't want you to get hurt." You state inaudible

"Excuse me you might have to speak up." He said with a light chuckle

"I don't want you to get hurt." You said a little bit louder while looking deep into his eyes

"What do you mean?"

"Oh c'mon jer don't play dumb, you know exactly what I mean. You're hunting vampires for gods sake. You're out there risking your life and for what? A stupid cure? I know you are trying to help your sister but nobody seems to care that you are putting your life on the line. I don't care how strong you are, you can still get hurt and I don't want you to. And the least you could've done was text or call me saying that you were alright so I didn't have to stay up worrying like a maniac." You ended with a huff

He stared at you for a few moments, he just gazed into your eyes not saying one word. Oh god! All kinds of thoughts were running through your head. Did he think you were being cling? Did he think-

All your ridiculous thoughts were cut off when Jeremy pulled you into a tight hug

"Thank you! Thank you so much for caring about me. I am so sorry that I didn't text or call saying that I was alright. I love you so much words can't describe how much I love you! I promise I will do my best to not get hurt." He rambled into your ear

"I will always care and worry about you jer. I love you, words can't describe how much I love you." A smile played on your lips as you nuzzled your face into the crook of Jeremy's neck and stayed in his embrace for what seemed like hours.
