Do you ever feel like something or someone is watching you? Like they are watching every step you take, waiting for the right moment to attack?

That is what I'm feeling right now.

I tried to calm my nerves but walking through the woods in the middle of the night in a town full of blood thirsty vampires and other supernatural creatures wasn't helping.

I tripped over a branch but was caught by a muscular figure, "Better watch out, Darling, you could've gotten hurt."

"Yeah, thanks." I mutterd , turning around and walking away from the creepy man.

I'm walking in the woods, I trip and this man just happens to be here to catch me? I think I have a right to call him creepy.

"You're that pretty little thang that I see hanging around the Salvatore brothers."

Of course, being friends with Stefan and Damon get's me in trouble...again

"And you're that creepy little thang that follows teenage girls into the woods." I mocked

"You have a sharp tongue. A sharp tongue can get you in a lot of trouble."

If I had a penny for every time someone has told me that

"Look sir, thank you for catching me before I face planted into the dirt but I'm going to go now." I turned around once again

"You aren't going anywhere." The man sped in front of me with a vamped out face

"Vampire."

"Hybrid" He corrected, then I blacked out

I woke up in an unknown bed with a bandage on my neck, "Hello, love."

"Klaus." I breathed out

"Are you okay?"

"I'm not dead so I guess I am."

"You wake up from almost dying and you're still witty, I love that about you." Klaus smiled

"Your hyb-'

"He's dead."

"Why?"

"He hurt you so I killed him."

"You killed one of your hybrids for me?"

"I would kill anyone for you, darling" I cringed at the nickname

"Please don't call me that."

"Of course."I felt him move my brown hair away from my eyes

"Why did save me?"

"What if I told you I liked you?"

"I would say that you're a thousand years old and have no idea what you're talking about."

"I'm serious, Caela. You're beautiful, kind, strong, the list could go on for days."

"Well Klaus, what if I told you I liked you too?"

"I would say that you have severe blood loss and don't know what your talking about."

"I'm serious, Klaus. You're handsome, kind...when you want to be, and the fact that you're like a thousand years old doesn't bother me as much as it should."

"Now that you have admitted your desire for me,"

"Wow!" I giggled

"Would you like to go on a date with me?"

"I would love to."
