"We're going to have to keep her here for a few weeks just to make sure everything's fine with her health and she's healthy enough to go home." The doctor said as I held Lily in my arms. I was going to hold her as much as I could, and be there for her as much as possible.

"That's fine, how's everything so far?"

"Everything seems to be going alright." The doctor said reading her clipboard and smiling. "She could be home within the next two weeks." She left out the room and I smiled and looked at Lily.

"You'll be coming home soon, you remember your room right?"

"Yeah I do." She said hugging me and I kissed her head and grabbed my bag.

"I'll have to leave because they're going to be making sure you're getting better. But I'll be back I promise, and you need your sleep okay?"

"But I slept for so long." She said with tears in her eyes. I got choked up, I tried to be strong and not cry in front of her so she wouldn't cry as much either.

"I know but this is so you can come home, and they say it's good for your energy and so you can be strong. Just do that for me okay? I love you."

"Okay, I love you too." She said giving me one last hug. I kissed her cheek and waved goodbye to her and left from out the hospital room, wiping my tears. I wasn't going to call anyone and let them know, I didn't want all Josh's family to come and see her if she didn't even know them right now, they were strangers to her. Shit, they're just about still strangers to me.

I walked down out the main doors and sat down on a bench, taking a deep breath in. Lily was up, but now Josh isn't. Explaining this to her might be hard but I know I'll have to face it, if he never wakes up it'll be worse. Having Lily back definitely hits me to reality, that it's possible he could wake up and having her helps me keep faith.

"Liyah? Are you alright?" I heard Ryan's voice say looking at me from a car. "Get in."

"Yeah I'm okay, Lily's up." I said smiling and getting in the car.

"You looked like you were lost in your thoughts, and that's great! Told you it was possible. Sometimes people need a little more time."

"I was, but I'm alright." All thoughts of Josh went to the back of my mind as soon as I got in the car with Ryan, lately it's just been like that, he makes me feel better and feel something new and fresh I haven't felt in years. "And I know, I was so excited to hold her in my arms. It was like I felt a piece of my heart fix itself when I held her."

"I know, that's one of the best feelings in the world. Feeling like someone completes you." He said looking at me and I shook my head.

"Shut up with all this lovey dovey shit, make me sick." I said laughing and checking my phone before he snatched it out my hands.

"No more phone."

"Um, do you pay the bill?"

"No but-"

"Then hand it over." I said snatching it back and giving him the evil eye. "Don't push my buttons."

"Why not?" He said pulling up to the parking garage and parking his car. He leaned over and laid his soft lips on my neck, which made me laugh and shake my head. He kept giving me many kissing along my neck and jaw, which made me shiver a bit and let out a slight gasp and it was already cold in the car from the air conditioner.

"Get up Ryan." I said laughing and he kept on going. I opened the car door and he fell into the seat and I slammed the door, running out the garage.

"Where you going?! I know I was getting to you Liyah!" He yelled and you could hear his echo all through the garage. "Get your ass back here!"

"Shut up!" I said running off and out the garage and quickly ran in the building. I kept pressing the elevator button but it was taking forever. "Fuck!" I screamed as I punched the buttons harder. The doors flew open and I got in, pressed my floor button but before the doors could close there he was. "How did you even?"

"I ran track in college, you can never out run me Liyah."

"We'll see about that."

"You couldn't." I stared at him and he looked down at me and wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me onto his. I smirked up at him and he leaned down to kiss me and I moved back.

"No, all that shit you were just talking."

"I don't care, I can say what I want." He said forcing his lips right onto mine with no hesitation, and backing me up against the wall of the elevator. I felt shivers run down my back from his touch, but then soon as my back hit up against wall, I thought about Josh and the day me and him were in here and I made a sudden stop. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing, don't stop." I whispered and put my hand on the back of his neck pulling him closer to me kissing him slowly and nonstop. Before I knew it, my feet were no longer on the ground because he picked me up and carried me as the doors opened. I wanted nothing more but to stop letting Josh run my life through my thoughts, I just wanted to feel fresh happiness.

He unlocked the door and kicked it closed, dropping me down on the couch, sitting my legs up on my shoulders and leaning back down to kiss me. The shivers and tingles that was running through my body all felt new, it was foreign to me but it was a feeling I liked. His hands slid up the sides of my body, slowly lifting up my shirt and then he moved my hair out my face and stared at me.

"You know, I do love you right?" I paused for a while, it was an awkward silence but I made sure I didn't stay silent that long. I just wasn't sure what to say, I didn't know if my feelings were even that deep for Ryan. I hate how my mind just boggles back and forth with this bullshit. I didn't know where my feelings or heart stood at this point but I know I was confused as ever, I wasn't sure if I loved him, or if I just loved Josh, or maybe I loved them both.

"I love you too."

Sorry for being late with updating, but some shockers are on the way in the next couple chapters. Might update early next time. :p
