When I was putting Lily to bed, I ended up laying there and falling asleep myself for a few hours. I jumped up and looked over at the clock and it was 12:04am. I went in the living room back where Josh was and he was wide awake.

"Why you still up?"

"I slept for almost a year straight, I have a hard time falling asleep now." He said getting up and stretching.

"How've your pains been? You should get going by the way, you shouldn't have your driver just sitting out there in the garage all night, and it's late."

"I'll get pain sometimes, but it got better. And I know I'm about to leave, you lucky you fell asleep cause you know what was coming."

"No, you're lucky that it's too late."

"You know I'll lay right back on that couch, don't test me Liyah."

"What if I want you too?" I said putting my arms around Josh. I didn't want him to leave but I knew he had too, it was like I didn't want him to leave my arms at all. Plus, my body was craving his and he knew it.

"Trust me, if I was fully healed you'd be right back on that kitchen counter. That's probably what I need to get 100% better."

"Shut up." I said laughing and walking him to the door. He turned and hugged me, didn't let me go at all. "Josh, did they tell you who did that to you?"

"Nah, they won't tell me. Nobody will tell me, cause once I find out I'm gonna make sure they get their's. Do you know?" I just looked at him and tried to nod my head no, but he could tell by the look on my face I was probably lying. "They told you?"

"No Josh."

"Don't lie to me."

"Yeah, I do know but I don't wanna tell you, I can't afford to permanetely lose you again, or have you thrown in jail over those people."

"I won't do it, I have people that will for me."

"I think they're already in jail Josh. I can't tell you, I'm too scared of what you might do. Your mom knows."

"She won't tell me." I kissed his forehead and wiggled myself out of his hug and stared up at him.

"Don't worry about it Josh, promise me."

"I will find out, you know I will." He said leaving down the hall as Tay was coming up. She practically ran over to me, I don't know if she was just excited to see me or something was really wrong, I don't even think she seen Josh go by her.

"Liyah we have a problem, Naomi's outside, somehow they all got out of jail and she's out there with the same people who did that to Josh!" She screamed out, sighing and out of breath from running. Josh's head turned fast, I wish he didn't hear that but he did. I guess the calmness couldn't last too long.

"It was Naomi?" He said looking at me and I shook my head. I didn't know what to do or say I just didn't want him to be stupid and run out there.

"Yeah it was, her and some other people and Liyah beat her ass like the night of the accident, Naomi's probably mad and now she's out. She asked me where you was at, building security isn't letting her in though for some reason. But you should stay up here, they seem like they might be loaded." Tay said going on about Naomi and her bullshit. I looked up at Josh, and could see the anger was set off like a firecracker. He didn't say anything and walked down to the elevator, and it was starting to scare me, I just got Josh back in my life and I don't plan on having that happen all over again.

"Josh! No calm down! Don't go down there!" I screamed and ran towards the door, trying to make it there before they closed, but I didn't. "Josh! No!" I screamed banging on the elevator door and pressing the button nonstop, but that wasn't working. "Stay up here with Lily, lock my door don't come out! Don't let anything happen to her!" I screamed back at Tay cause she wanted to follow me but couldn't. I wasn't going to have Lily up here by herself if I don't know what was about to happen, I didn't need her hurt too.

"Josh!" I said screaming, bursting through the door of the emergency stair case. I was skipping a few steps, tripping, even fell a few times I was in that much of a rush, I was on the highest floor so my ass had a lot of rushing to do to try and get down there in time before Josh did. By the time I made it down, I was out of breath and Josh was standing right there in the middle of the main lobby, looking at them from out the window as they stood there arguing with the building security. "Didn't you fucking hear me tell you don't go down here?!"

"Liyah go back upstairs."

"No! You're coming with me fighting with them isn't gonna give you back the year you lost! And this is what the fuck they want you to do, and I'm not sitting on the side of a hospital bed or the other side of a jail cell cause you can't control yourself and avoid this! Think about Lily!"

"Look, go upstairs Liyah! I don't want you down here if things happened you can get hurt, and that's the last thing I want! I'll be fine, you know I will."

"No I don't know if you'll be fine Josh! Stop that! This isn't the right way to deal with this!"

"Then what is?! Tell me Liyah what is the right way to deal with this then?" He said screaming as loud as he could right back at me, and it shut me up quick. The doors slammed open and Naomi was standing there with one of the guys, and the other dozen were outside. One of the building security people stayed outside with that one group, and the other one came in with Naomi.

"You can't be in this building!" The security gaurd yelled at her and tried to direct her back outside.

"This will only take five minutes." She said looking at Josh, with that ugly ass smirk on her face that needed to be slapped off.

"Josh, please come with me let's go upstairs." I said grabbing Josh's arm trying to control my nerves and as well as his anger. He was heated and I could feel it, if I wasn't down here fast enough Naomi probably would've been choked to death. He stood there and just looked at her and the guy, and they did the same.

"You trying to run Liyah? Why? You know you almost killed me that night."

"And do you know you almost killed my daughter that day? The fuck is wrong with you to even tell me that, like I gave a fuck if you would've died or not." That's when I seen her get angry, and I must've hit a soft spot cause she took her hand out her pocket, holding a gun. The guy next to her did the same, and then before I knew it the security gaurd did too, pointing it at them.

"Josh, just go upstairs save yourself please!"

"You think I'm about to leave you down here?!" Josh yelled down at me and my nerves were getting the best of me. I didn't know what was about to happen and it scared me, if I lose Josh again, or if I end up in the same position he was for a year. Every thought possible was going on in my mind, and it felt like my head was gonna explode.

"So let me ask you something Naomi." Josh said putting his hands in his pockets and lookig at her. Just let me know all who shot at my truck that day, was it all of you?"

"Every one of us, you should be dead, you or your daughter." That's when Josh took his hands out his coat pockets, and had two guns about the same size as everyone elses, I was shocked and scared cause I didn't even know if he owned any guns, but at that moment I didn't say anything cause after I seen him pull those out, I blacked out because of the ignorant shit she just said, and I could hear my mind picking at me to attack her.

"Liyah, control yourself. Just like you told me upstairs alright?" Josh said to me cause he knows how sensitive I get about Lily, he knows if I had the chance I'd be beating her ass right now. He pointed both guns at them, and everyone was just at gunpoint at this moment. I tried to handle myself and keep my anger inside, but that wasn't helping.

"Yeah I said it, one of them should've died and if you was in there you should've too! Why you think we're here right now? For revenge, we want all three of you dead!" She yelled out and that was it, as I began to run towards her, I think that's when everyone began to shoot, cause all you could hear was the sounds of shots being fired from every direction possible.
