It was Christmas Eve and Lily and I had just finished making cookies, she went to change out her messy clothes. I haven't left out my place since I returned, just to work. I can't leave without the paparazzi in my face. It's been two weeks since the interview but they were still in my face. They've questioned Josh all over the different news shows, and he didn't deny any of his feelings. I know it was only a matter of time before he would find out about Lilyana but I don't know how it would be taken. Would he deny her, think I'm lying, or just not wanna talk to me anymore?

"Mommy I need help with my hair!" I heard Lily call out. I went in her room and started brushing out her curly tangled hair.

"You and your messy mess." I laughed and started combing the ends of her hair.

"When does Santa come?"

"Tonight, when you're sleeping."

"Why only when sleep?" She said, and before I could answer there was a knock on the door. It was probably Tay, she usually came and slept over on Christmas.

"Stay right here, let me go see who's at the door." I kissed her forehead and went to the door. "Tay you better have the-" To my surprise it wasn't Tay. It was Josh, and somehow he got up here with none of the paparazzi on his ass. "Oh... hi."

"Can I come inside? I need to ask you something." I looked at him and he had a serious look in his eyes, one I rarely seen. I nodded and he came inside shutting the door behind him. "The Enquire Magazine has you on the front page, and your holding a little girl."

I could feel myself getting sick as he started talking about what he saw. What was I supposed to say? I walked over to the window as he continued to talk.

"I know they make up stories and all that shit, to sell the magazines so I mean I have a feeling it's fake. Plus I don't think it's possible if you even had a baby for me to not know a thing about it, everybody know's who you are."

I kept looking out the window, at the fluffy falling snow and the lights of the hundreds of cars that was in traffic. How was I supposed to explain this?

"Josh."

"Say something Liyah isn't it fake?"

"Josh..."

"It's just funny how far magazines would go to boost up sales-"

"Listen to me!" I screamed out as I turned to look over at him. "Josh, almost three years ago when we graduated, I tried."

"Tried? Tried what Liyah?"

"Oh my god mommy! You got me the best present ever!" Lily said as she stared at Josh with wide eyes, jaw to the floor. I was shaking because of her priceless reaction to seeing Josh, she's been obsessed with seeing him ever since she found out his last name, it's like she knew. "You got me the guy that has my last name!" She ran over to Josh and hugged on his legs, looking up at him with the biggest smile on her face. He looked at me and tears raced down my face, when his eyes met mine. He bent down and looked at Lily's face, and pulled her into one of his giant bear hugs he would give me.

"S-A-N-D-E-R-S." She spelled and looked at him when he let her out of the hug. "Why are you crying? Big tall football people don't cry." She said as she wiped his eyes with her small hands.

"Even giants cry." He smiled and hugged her again and didn't let her go. I walked over to them and she looked up at me and put her arms up.

"Come here," I picked her up and looked down at Josh and walked to her room. "Tired? You should sleep, the earlier you sleep the faster Santa comes." I kissed her head and laid her in her bed. She smiled at me and grabbed her favorite teddy bear and looked at the door.

"Are you gonna be here again?" She said looking at Josh in the doorway.

"Of course I will, listen to your mom, go to sleep Santa's got a lot of gifts for you." He smiled looking at her and she turned around to finally go off to sleep. I shut her light off and put on her night light, and grabbed Josh's arm pulling him to the living room with me. I wasn't sure how he was really taking all of this, if this was his actual reaction he was taking it quite well surprisingly, I know how angry he could get.

"Look, I tried telling you years ago, I tried. Then Naomi was down your back about everything, trying to shove me out your life as much as possible. Then she said she was pregnant it seemed like there was a lot on your plate. Then your career was taking off I didn't wanna-"

"I don't wanna talk about this anymore I'll be back tomarrow." He grabbed my face and kissed my forehead, "Don't worry about it."
