The Pain, With Relief

{Your POV}

"Oh, my, God!!!" You scream.

You cover you face with your hands.

"This can't be happening." You say in your hands.

You slouch in your booth and cover your face again. You shake your head violently.

"You cheated on me y/n!!!!!!" Mark yells at you,

"Dude!!! She cheated on me also!!!" Jack yells back.

"I can't handle this anymore!!! Jack, get out!!!!" You yell.

Jack stands up and you do also. You run out of the restaurant and head to the nearest bench.

You rest you elbows on your knees. Your hands collapse on your face. Tears start falling as you cry loudly.

"Are you okay?" Someone asks.

You look up to see Pewds standing in front of you.

"No, no I'm not. I'm a horrible person Pewds. I really am." You say shoving your face in your hands again.

He sighs and sits next to you. He rubs your back in comfort.

"I don't deserve any of them." You say sadly.

"Now, now! Don't say that! You do deserve them. I believe you deserve Jack more in my opinion." Pewds hints.

"You know, your right. Jack asked me in a very special way. But, can I sit next to you, in outside, while Ken sits in the inside?" You ask whipping your tears.

"Of course. I will do that for a friend." Pewds says.

You look at him and smile. "Thank you!"

You give Pewds a big, warm, and friendly hug.

He hugs back and rubs your back in comfort. "Anytime."

You let go and look at him. "We better go back in."

"Yes, we better 'cause I'm fucking starving!" Pewds states getting up.

You laugh and stand up as well. You walk back into the restaurant.

"Alright, alright, alright!!" Pewds says sitting down.

You sit down next to Pewds smiling. You love it when he says that.

Your smile soon fades away seeing an angry Mark and Jack. Your eyes swell up with tears again.

"I don't know if I can stand this." You whisper to Pewds.

A tear falls down your cheek as you cover your face. You start to lightly sob again.

"P-please don't cry again!" Pewds coos.

"I'm a horrible person Pewds!!! Can't you see!!! Look what I did!!!" You yell into your hands.

{Jacks POV}

"I'm a horrible person Pewds!!! Can't you see!!! Look what I did!!!" Y/m yells into her face.

My face collapses. I look at y/n who is sobbing.

"Y/n, go to the bathroom and wash your face please darling?" Pewds asks.

She nods and heads towards the bathroom. Pewds looks behind to see if y/n was really gone. Then he turns back to us.

He points two fingers at us.

"Now listen you two. You see what you did to y/n back there. You made her cry, again! You think that is a good thing to do?" Pewds asks sternly.

"If she would of spoken up sooner, she wouldn't of done that!" Mark grumbles.

"Oh shut it Mark. You should've ask her if she was single or not before you even asked her out. She forgot!! Jeez, coming to L.A. for a couple of years, she can forget!!" Pewds snaps.

"I agree with Pewds here. He does have a point Mark. You just can't ask a girl out without asking if she is single or not. You are the one who started this mess." Ken agrees.

"No I'm not!! Jack is the one who brought it up!!" Mark snaps slamming his hands on the table.

"Okay!! Yes, it was me but you know!! I'm trying to be nice here so let's just forget about it and have a good time. Me and y/n are together now and that is how it should be!!" I say.

I see y/n coming back and sitting next to Pewds. I smile at her. She doesn't react. She just snatches her lemonade and takes a sip out of it.

"Are you okay Y/n?" Pewds asks.

She nods wearily playing the straw in her cup.

"Oh goodie!! The food is here!!" Mark says sitting up.

"Anyone wants dessert?" Marcus asks.

"No thank you." I say.

Marcus puts the check down on the table. Y/n takes it but I grab away from her.

"I'll pay." I say

"She snatches it back and rolls her eyes. She takes her wallet out of her pocket and places the payment down. Everyone leaves a tip and we head out the restaurant.

{Your POV}

You shiver half way through the walk. Jack notices you and he takes off his Jacket. He places it on your shoulders.

"Please don't." You say sadly.

"Please. Something for my girl." Jack replies.

You smile weakly. You step a little faster to catch up to Mark to talk to him about something. He had his hands in his pockets and his head low.

"I'm sorry Mark." You pipe up.

Mark jumps at your remark. "Jeez you scared me woman!!"

"I'm sorry for everything back there. I totally forgot about Jack when we were dating. I knew I was forgetting something but I couldn't put my finger on it because, you were being really nice to me and I loved you. I still do love you, but Jack is my true love!" You say.

"I understand. I don't want to ruin your guys' relationship. You guys are really cute together. At least I got to spend my last three years with you." He says smiling.

"Thank you so much for being there for me! You are the best friend I could ever possibly have!!" You say.

You run back to Jack. You jump into his arms.

"I love you so much!!" You coo.

"I love too y/n!" Jack says back.

"Can you carry me?" You ask.

"Sure thing sugar!!" He jokes.

He bends down and you climb on his back. He lifts you higher and he starts running fast. You squeal with laughter.
