Chapter 12

Gwen's pov://

Anna is amazing. She's beautiful and kind and caring. She makes me smile. The truth is I really like her, but I'm not gonna tell her that. For one, she has Hayes and I don't want to ruin that for them. Two we have a really good friendship and I don't want to ruin that either. I thought I was in love with Lyss but after she dumped me, I realized I was in love with someone else.Someone so close to me. Besides she doesn't feel that way about me.

Anna's pov://

I drove to Hayes's house after packing a bag and knocked on the door. His mom opened it.

"Oh hey sweetie! Hayes is in the shower, but he'll be out soon. Go on up." She said giving me a warm hug. She is like my second mom.

I walked up the stairs into Hayes room and sat on his bed. More like snuggled up in it. I am exhausted. I know he is too. I was half asleep when I heard the bathroom door open but I didn't feel like looking up. I saw the lights turn off and the bed dip beside me before a strong pair of arm wrapped around me. I turned to face Hayes.

"Goodnight princess. I love you." He said kissing my nose.

"Goodnight Hayes. I love you more." I said snuggling into his chest.

"Not possible babe." He said smiling.

"Mmmhhmm" I mumbled before drifting off to sleep.

I woke up to the sun shining and the smell of pancakes. I shot up and rushed down to the kitchen.

"Hayes and pancakes in one place! How could this get any better!" I yelled making him jump.

He chuckled. "You being here."

"Yeah I know right." I said hugging him from behind while he flipped pancakes.

He finished the pancakes and we ate and drank chocolate milk.

"No ones home. They all left us." He said putting dishes in the sink as I did the same.

I smirked and ran upstairs to brush my teeth. I am just hyper and happy today. A minute later Hayes walked in to brush his teeth. He walked in on my dancing around while brushing my teeth. He brushed his also.

"You are somethin else." He said after he finished.

"Yeah, but I'm your somethin else." I said moving closer to him.

He smiled and pulled my wrist towards him and kissed me. I kissed back. I am so lucky to have him. I smiled and we pulled away.

"What do you want to do today?" He asked holding both my hands and smiling that cute little smile.

"Shopping?" I said hopefully.

"Really?" He asked with an attitude.

"Don't you get an attitude with me mister." I said crossing my arms.

"I can if I want." He said crossing his arms too.

"Fine then. You don't get any kisses." I said smirking.

"What! No! Babe I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. Please!!!" He begged.

"I already made my decision." I said still smirking.

He kissed me but I didn't kiss back I just stood there. It was hard, but I managed.

"Oh come on! Pleaseeeeeeee! Immmmmmm soowwwwyyy!" He begged.

"Only if we go shopping." I said smirking proudly.

"Okay okay fine." He kissed me passionately. " only if I get to pick out what you try on." He whispered smirking.

"Fine." I said and started getting ready.

I went into the bathroom and changed into high waisted maroon jeans and a black short sleeve sweater type thing with combat boots and a necklace. I brushed my hair out and applied eyeliner and mascara with Chapstick and walked out seeing Hayes completely ready sitting there smiling.

"Ready?" He asked.

"Yes." I sassed.

"Finally! Let's gooooooooo!" He yelled grabbing my hand and running downstairs dragging me with him. I managed to grab my purse and phone before I was dragged to the car.

He opened the door for me, rushed me in, closed it, and jolted to the drivers seat and got in.

"You said I was something else." I said laughing and buckling my seatbelt.

"I'm exited." He said as we started driving.

"Why? You hate shopping." I said confused.

He just smirked. Oh lord. I'm kind of worried now. I rolled my eyes and turned on the radio.

We arrived at the mall and walked in. Hayes picked forever 21. I doubt he's getting anything but I like it so yeah.

"Try this on!" He said holding up a cream dress.

"Uh a little small don't ya think?" I said looking at it.

"Pleaseeeeee. You said I could pick out stuff too." He begged.

"Fine." I said and took it.

"This too." He said handing me a dark grey sweater with a diamond cutout in between the shoulder blades. I like it.

"These!" He said handing me some black wedges.

"Okay that's enough." I said and walked to the dressing room.

I turned the corner and walked into the one on the very end. Hayes sat on the stool outside the dressing room. I put on the dress and wedges and looked in the mirror. It wasn't that bad. It fit my curves but it wasn't too tight actually and it looked good with the wedges. I walked out and Hayes's eyes went wide.

"Take a picture Grier. It'll last longer." I said and he blushed.

"You look great." He said.

"Thank you. I like it too." I said smiling and looking into the multiple mirrors. "Okay next." I said walking back into the dressing room and put on the sweater. I put my jeans back on and the wedges. Perfect.

I walked out and smiled.

"I'm pretty good at this right?" He said smiling proudly.

"Yes other than you taking 30 minutes to find 3 things." I said twirling.

I went back into the dressing room and changed back into my clothes and walked out and Hayes took the stuff out of my arms and started running. Crap. He's paying no. I'm gonna pay. I run after him and he's handing the cashier money when I get there. Man he's a fast runner.

"Hayes. You didn't have to buy it for me." I said catching my breath.

"Well I wanted to so here you go." He said smiling and handing me the bag.

"Thank you Hayes." I said as we walked out back into the mall.

"Your welcome." He said and grabbed my hand as we walked.

His phone rang and he looked at it confused and then answered. We stopped walking and sat on a bench. I saw his expression drop.

"Okay well be right there." He said before hanging up. "We gotta go come on I'll explain in the car." He said as we sped walked to his car.

We got in and buckled up.

"What is it?" I asked confused.

"It's ........
