Chapter 48

Hayes held my hand the whole way there and stayed completely silent.

"You okay?" I asked.

"Yeah. Why wouldn't I be?" He asked.

"I don't know. You're just not saying much." I shrugged.

"I'm just exited." He smiled.

"About what?" I asked giggling.

"You'll see." He replied squeezing my hand.

Once we arrived at his house, we went up to his room. He stopped at the door and smiled opening it slowly. I walked in and marveled at the sight.

"Wow." Was the only word I could manage to speak.

Anna's pov://

There were lights hanging from the wall and rose pedals and a bunch of pillows and blankets on the floor. Hayes had Netflix projecting onto the wall. This is perfect.

"Thank you." Hayes said.

"Did I say that outloud?" I giggled.

"Haha yes. Yes you did." Hayes chuckled.

"I love it. This is amazing Hayes." I smiled and turned towards him.

"Good." He smiled and pecked my lips.

"Just one question..." I started.

"Mhm?"

"What is all this for?" I asked.

"Just because I love you." He smiled cheekily.

I stood on my tip-toes and pressed my lips to his. I can never get tired of kissing him. I still feel fireworks. We pulled away and I smiled.

"Come on" Hayes took my hand leading me to all the pillows and blankets. "What do you want to watch?" He asked as we slipped our shoes off and sat down.

"You're letting me choose?" I asked surprised.

"I know I know. It's gonna be some chik flik... but because I love you, I'll get over it." He replied.

I blushed and said "I love you too."

I thought for a few minutes and finally decided on Twilight.

"Okay, Twilight isn't that bad at least." Hayes chuckled.

I got comfortable as he put Twilight on. The movie started and Hayes sat down beside me pulling me in between his legs. I don't know how I got so lucky. Hayes is the best boyfriend I could ask for.

"Babe." Hayes mumbled.

"Mhm?"

"I want a kiss." He stated.

"And I want to watch the movie." I replied holding in a laugh.

"Please."

"I'm good." I said chuckling.

"Pleeeaaasssseeeeee-"

"Fine." I gave up.

I turned towards him and kissed his cheek and turned back around.

"That's not what I meant." Hayes pouted.

"Shoulda said what you meant." I giggled.

He wrapped his arms around my waist and laid back so I was laying on top of him then flipped us over and pinned me down.

"Now if I don't get a kiss, you get tickled." He smirked.

"You wouldn't." I gasped.

"Try me." He replied. "Three, two,....one."

He started tickling my sides as I squealed and laughed while squirming all over the place.

"No. Please. Stop. Please." I begged.

He finally stopped tickling me and smiled innocently while saying "Now can I have a kiss?"

I rolled my eyes and replied "fine looser."

He wasted no time crashing his lips onto mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he slipped his tongue in my mouth. Our lips moved perfectly in sync as the movie played in the background. After a minute or so, he pulled away and said "I" kiss "love" kiss "you" kiss.

"I love you too." I giggled playing with his hair.

He smiled and sat up and pulled me into his lap.

"You're not gonna leave me are you?" Hayes asked randomly a few minutes later.

"What?" I asked.

"Are you ever gonna leave me?" He asked again.

"No. Wha- why would you think that?" I asked and put a hand on his cheek.

"I just don't ever want to loose you. I- I know I'm not good enough for you... I never have been." He said looking down.

"Hayes, you are good enough. You are perfect. I love you so much....I could never ever leave you." I spoke softly and kissed him passionately.

He kissed back and wrapped his arms around my torso pulling me closer to him. We kissed for a few minutes then pulled away with our foreheads resting against each other's.

"You never have to worry if I'll leave you, because I won't. You are my happiness and I love you with all my heart. That's never gonna change no matter what happens." I stated.

"I love you so much baby." He replied and hugged me tight.

I hugged him back and kissed his cheek repeatedly causing him to laugh.

"Can we just sleep now?" I asked.

"Yes." He replied smiling big.

He turned off the movie and the projector and picked me up. He set me down on the bed and threw off his shirt and laid beside me pulling the covers over us.

"I figured you wanted to sleep in the bed instead of on the floor." He chuckled.

"I don't care where as long as I'm with you." I replied and I saw his smile grow wider.

I scooted closer to him and he wrapped his arms around me and I laid my head on his chest.

"I love you." He whispered and kissed my forehead.

"I love you more." I whispered closing my eyes.
