*A few days later on Anna's birthday*

I woke up to sun shining through my window. I groaned and turned over. Worst day of my life. I wish I could just sleep all day and forget about it. I laid there for another while and finally decided to get up. I took a quick shower, dried my hair, and put on leggings and a long sleeve t-shirt. I went back into my room and put on fuzzy socks and unplugged my phone. I really what some food. I went downstairs to an empty kitchen and grabbed a frozen waffle and popped it in the toaster. It popped up and I grabbed it and started eating it. Maybe I could shop today. I need more leggings. I practically wear leggings everyday. I went back upstairs after I finished and brushed my teeth and put on mascara and some nike roshes. I don't know where anyone is so I'm just gonna go. I went downstairs and out the door into my car. I pulled out of the driveway and drove off towards the mall. I would see if Emma wanted to go but she has stuff to do today and Hayes just wouldn't want to. I arrived at the mall and got out. I'm actually pretty happy. I get to shop without my brother or Hayes constantly complaining.

I arrived back home and saw Anna wasn't there. Good. We can set up. I texted Hayes and started taking everything out of the bags. We decided to have it down in the basement so if Anna shows up early, she won't see. Hm.... I wonder where she is. I decided to text her.

C- Where you at?
A- Shopping. Probably be gone until after lunch.
C- Okay have fun
A- I will

I put my phone down and heard footsteps coming down the stairs.

"I'm here!" Hayes yelled.

"Good. We need to start." I responded and he nodded.

We put up streamers and balloons and the big sign we made. I figure since this is her first birthday with us, it needs to be special. I really hope she likes it. I checked the time seeing it was already almost one o'clock.

"We can go grab some lunch a pick up the cake now. I'm starving." I stated.

"Ugh me too. Let's go." Hayes replied and we went upstairs and got unto my car.

After hours of shopping and bags of stuff, I decided to go get lunch. I put all of my bags in my car and drove through the drive- through at Chik'Fil'a. I ate in my car and drove around until I found a little boutique and decided to go in. I shopped for over an hour there and spent a lot, but oh well. I got in my car when my phone buzzed. I saw a message from Cam.

C- Mom said dinner is going to be ready in about half an hour.
A- Okay. I'll be home.

I put my phone up and started driving. It will probably take about twenty minutes to get back to my house. Once I was back at my house, I lugged all of my bags upstairs to my room and looked around and didn't see anyone home. Hm, that's weird. My phone buzzed and I saw Hayes had texted me.

H- In the basement babe ;)

Hm, I didn't know he was coming. Oh well. I took off my shoes and went down the stairs and then down stairs into the basement. The light are off. They must be watching movies or something. I just don't want anyone to mention my birthday. I already feel like breaking down just thinking about it. I reached the bottom step and looked around and the lights turned on and a few people yelled "Happy Birthday!"

I was shocked. Everything was beautiful. There were streamers and balloons and a cake. Hayes and Cam were standing there with the biggest smiles on their faces. Gwen and Mahogany and Jack and Jack and Tay. Wow all of Magcon. They all looked so happy. But I wasn't. Tears welled in my eyes as I stuttered trying to speak.

"T- thanks guys." I said quietly before being overwhelmed and running back up the stairs as hot tears streamed down my face.

I ran into my room and shut the door and locked it. I slid down the door with my head in my hands and just sobbed replaying the memories in my head. I was only thirteen. No one knows barley anything about my past life except Emma. She knows everything. I just want to see my bestfriend, but she's working until later tonight. I don't want to bother her. I heard a soft knock on the door and Cam spoke.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"I'm fine. Just give me a few minutes please." I responded sniffling.

"Did we do something wrong?" He asked and I heard the sadness in his voice.

"No. No. It's okay." I replied.

"Okay..." He said and I heard him walk away.

I tucked my knees to my chest and laid my head down trying to stop thinking about it. That day was pure torture. Nonstop torture. I feel really bad. They did all that for me and I just left. I stood up and walked into the bathroom. I washed my face and took a deep breath. I should go back. I slowly left my room and went back down to the basement. All eyes were on me when I walked into the room. Cameron appeared by my side and hugged me.

"I'm sorry for whatever I did. I tried to make it perfect, I really did." He spoke softly.

"No. It is perfect Cam. You didn't do anything wrong. It's great." I replied.

"Then what was that all about?" He asked letting go.

"I'll talk to you later. Let's just have a good time now." I smiled weakly.

"Okay. I love you, a lot. I'm really glad I have you now." He stated.

"I love you Cameron." I smiled big and kissed his cheek. "Can we have cake now?" I asked and Cam chuckled and nodded.

"Time to sing and cake!" Cam yelled.

They sang Happy Birthday and Cam started cutting the cake. I felt arms wrap around my waist and I turned around seeing Hayes.

"Hey baby. Are you okay?" He asked and I saw the concern in his eyes.

"Don't worry about it." I reassured him.

He looked hesitant but then smiled and pecked my lips. "Happy birthday."

"Thanks babe." I smiled. "Where's my cake?" I asked turning back around and Cameron was standing there holding a plate with a slice of cake.

"Thanks Cam." I smiled and took the plate from him.
