Chapter 55

Anna's pov://

I didn't know where I was walking to, but I ended up at the park. I sat down on a swing and swung slowly. I don't understand. I mean I was in love with him, but I never stopped loving Hayes. I guess it's my fault. I should've never dated him. I guess it was only because I was heart broken. I did love him and I still do...just not in that way. I was snapped out of my thoughts when my phone dinged. I saw I had a message from Gwen.

G- I knew I shouldn't of told you... I'm sorry I didn't tell you I was leaving. I'm sorry I wasn't here for you. I'm just sorry. I couldn't stand having to tell you goodbye... I'm still in love with you but I'm working on that. I just want you in my life even if we are just friends...

A- It's okay. It's my fault anyways. I shouldn't of dated you because I never stopped loving Hayes. And I hurt you and I'm sorry. You mean so much to me and I never meant to hurt you...

G- It's alright. Where are you at?

A- The park

G- See ya in a minute

A- Wait what?

*end*

I waited a minute and he didn't reply. Okayyyy. Well I guess I'm waiting on him to get here. I sat in the swing for a few more minutes until it was hurting my but so I got up and sat on a bench. I heard footsteps and turned around seeing Gwen. I stood up and walked to him and before he could say anything I just hugged him.

"I brought you food." He smiled.

"Yay! Where is it?" I asked looking around confused.

"In the car. Come on." He chuckled and started walking towards his car.

"How do I know your not a serial killer trying to lure me to your car with food?" I asked trying to be serious.

"I guess you'll have to get in and see."

"I'll take the chance. Only because I'm hungry." I smiled and got in.

He handed me the bag of Chik Fil'A and I thanked him and started eating. We sat in a comfortable silence as the radio played softly. I watched the trees pass as we drove.

"Oh, does Cameron know I'm with you?" I asked.

"Yep. I told him I would take you home." He replied.

"Ok, thanks." He nodded and smiled and I continued eating.

We arrived at my house and he stopped in the driveway.

"Thank you G." I said and he just smiled softly and nodded. "What's wrong?" I asked.

"I have to leave again tomorrow." He sighed.

"Oh...well I'm gonna miss you."

"I'll miss you too." He replied and smiled a real smile.

"I'm happy for you, you know." I stated.

"Thank you Anna. That means a lot." He replied.

I hugged him and he hugged back tightly.

"I guess I'll see you later." I said. "And you better answer my texts." I laughed.

"I will. I will." He chuckled.

"Alright... Well I guess this is goodbye for now." I opened the door.

"Goodbye." He sighed.

"For now." I added and smiled cheekily.

He laughed and started the car again. I stepped out and closed the door. I unlocked the front door and turned around and waved one last time before walking in. I threw my trash away and went upstairs to my room. I decided to take a long hot shower.

After my shower, I changed into a t-shirt and leggings. I went downstairs to the kitchen and grabbed a water and went back up to my room. I laid on my bed watching whatever random Disney movies were on Netflix.

I was in the middle of Princess Protection Program when I heard a knock on my door. I paused the movie and said "Come in."

Hayes walked in and I smiled.

"Hey babygirl." He said and walked to me and pecked my lips.

"Hey." I smiled.

"I can't stay but I had to come in and see your beautiful face."

I blushed and looked down. He lifted my chin with his thumb and his lips met mine. Our lips moved perfectly together. I forgot how perfect it felt kissing him. We heard a knock and the door opened and we pulled apart quickly.

"Hey guys I- um did I interrupt something?" Cameron asked. "Actually never mind I don't wanna know." He said before either of us could answer. "I am going to get some milk. I'll be back in a few."

"Ok." Hayes and I both replied in unison then laughed.

Cameron left and Hayes turned to me again. He placed his hands on my hips and kissed me softly then pulled away. "I'll see you later. I love you." He said.

"Love you more." I replied as he got up.

"Love you mostest." He winked as he walked out.

I really do love that boy. I am so in love with him... I don't even know what I'd ever do without him. I was so bored out of my mind and didn't want to do anything so I just slept like normal. I sleep way too much.

I was awoken by a pair of strong arms wrapping around me. My eyes fluttered open and I saw Cameron.

"Sorry didn't mean to wake you." He whispered and I just nodded.

I snuggled up to his chest and closed my eyes again. I really do miss these moments with Cam. What's it gonna be like without him when he moves to California? I'm gonna miss him so much.... I don't know what I'm gonna do.
