Anna's pov://

Today we're leaving for Magcon again. I'm really excited because I missed everyone, but I'm gonna really miss Emma.

"Promise to text me everyday?" Emma asked.

"I promise." I replied.

I gave her one last hug as Cameron and I packed the car and headed off. Emma and I still haven't given up on figuring out what happened with Cameron. We are definitely going to continue when we get back home.

(Skipping plane ride)

I excitedly hurried off the plane dragging Hayes, who was still half asleep. I saw the group of guys and Mahogany and let go of Hayes's hand and started running towards Mahogany engulfing her into a huge hug.

"I missed you so freakin much!" I squealed.

"I missed you too! I'm so glad you're okay, Cameron told me what all happened." She responded as we let go.

"I'm alright now. Everything's fine thankfully." I smiled.

"Don't I get a hug?" I heard from behind me.

"Tay!" I exclaimed jumping on him.

"Anna!" He squealed in a girly voice causing me to laugh.

"Ugh I missed you and your dorkiness." I chuckled.

"Well duh you missed me."

I got off of him and saw Nash talking to Cameron.

"Nashley!" I beamed jumping on his back.

"Ughhh I'm not Nashley." He pouted.

"Yeah you are." I giggled and hopped off of him.

I hugged Aaron next, then Carter, and then Matt. I saw he had brought Mia.

"Anna!" She jumped on me squeezing me to death.

"Mia, omg I didn't know you were coming too!" I replied hugging her back.

We talked for a few minutes until I saw the Jacks.

I hugged them both and saw Jack G had brought his girlfriend. Her name was Madison. (No hate guys) she was really pretty and really nice.

"Shawn, you've grown like two feet in a month." I laughed as I hugged him.

"I know. I feel like a giant standing next to you." He chuckled.

"Where'd this muscle come from?" I asked. "You changed so much."

He laughed at my comment. I finished reuniting with everyone and we all headed off since all of us had arrived. Hayes sat next to Carter in the limo and I let them be, because their bromance was cute. I sat in between Taylor and Shawn as the limo started moving.

"Taylor where's your girlfriend?" I asked laying my head on his shoulder.

"She couldn't come." He pouted.

"Aw, I wanted to meet her." I frowned. "What about you Shawn?" I asked and he just kind of looked at me blankly.

"Don't have one." He mumbled.

"What happened to-" I was cut off by Taylor putting his hand over my mouth.

I was confused but let it go. I stayed silent for the rest of the ride. We arrived at the hotel and got our rooms and unpacked. I was with Hayes of course. I got a head ache and groaned.

"Hayes, do you have any Advil?" I asked. "I have a killer head ache."

"Yeah, I'll get it babe." He replied and I thanked him and laid on the bed.

He handed me an Advil and some water and I thanked him and laid back down.

"We are going to get food, you coming?" Hayes asked.

I shook my head. "I think I'm just gonna stay here and rest."

"Okay, call me if you need anything. I love you." He kissed my head.

"I love you more." I replied before he left.

I fell asleep almost instantly. I woke up hearing quiet strumming of a guitar. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. My headache was much better. I got up and heard the guitar again. I thought everyone was gone. I walked into over to the connecting door in our room and listened. It was coming from there. That's when I heard Shawn start singing.

(I know this is an old song, but oh well.)

'Weeks on end I'm on the road
Start to lose my sense of home
I should've called so many times but I
I just sat next to my phone'

'Just know it takes it from me
To end this darling oh'

His voice was soft and absolutely beautiful.

'And I know you'll find someone who
Gives you the time I didn't give to you
I'm running low
I'm sorry but I have to go'

'And maybe I will never feel
You give me something so real
I'm running low
I'm sorry but I have to go'

The strumming and singing stopped and I checked if the door was open and it was. Shawn sat on the couch with his guitar beside him just staring at his feet.

I knocked on the door frame and he looked up. "Can I come in?" I asked. He nodded and I stepped through the doorway. "That was beautiful." I said as I sat beside him.

"Thank you. It came from the heart."

"I can tell." I smiled. "I thought you guys went to get food?" I asked.

"I didn't feel like going." He shrugged and leaned back closing his eyes.

This wasn't the Shawn I was used to seeing. He was usually all goofy and happy...but not now.

"Are you alright?" I asked and he just signed and shrugged. "Is it about Lauren?" I asked.

"Yeah..." He said softly.

"If it was meant to be, it'll work out, I promise." I said reassuringly.

"It just feels like nothing ever goes right. I hurt her without even trying. I'm never around, I can't be there for her...she deserves better." He shook his head and I saw how genuinely hurt he was.

I held my arms open and he gladly accepted, pulling me to him. I didn't know what else to say or do other than comfort him and tell him everything will be okay.

"If you really love each other, it'll work out eventually."

"I do really love her..." He sighed still holding me in his arms.

"Well don't just mope around, things will get better."

"Not without her" he shook his head.

"This is depressing." I mumbled.

"I know." Shawn added causing me to chuckle.

"I should go." I said letting go of him. "I'm gonna get a shower before everyone gets back." I stood up and started walking towards the door.

"Wait!" Shawn called grabbing my hand and spinning me around.

We were inches apart from each other and he softly placed a hand on my cheek. "I just need to feel something." He pleaded softly.

"I'm sorry Shawn." I shook my head, wiggling out of his grip and hurrying back into my room shutting the door behind me and taking a deep breath.
