Chapter 41

Anna's pov://

"We're going through the window." I told Hayes as he pulled into Gwen's driveway.

"Uh...duh." He replied causing me to laugh.

"Let's go!" I yelled and hopped out and hurried to the window.

Hayes and I both climbed in and I saw Gwen sitting at his desk with headphones in doing homework or something. I turned to Hayes and put my finger up to my mouth signaling him to be quiet. He nodded and we crept over to Gwen.

"One. Two. Three." I whispered and we both pulled out his headphones and yelled "Surprise!"

Gwen screamed and fell on the floor causing us all to fall.

"Well that wasn't supposed to happen." I laughed.

"Guys! What are you doing here?" Gwen asked and pulled us both into a huge hug.

"We had to surprise you. Anna's idea." Hayes said and smiled at me.

"I love you guys...even though you just gave me a heart attack." Gwen chuckled.

"Sorry bout that." I laughed. "Now get ready. We all have to do something."

"Okay. I am. I am." Gwen said and went into his closet.

"I'm going to go see Sky and Mom and I will be back to pick you guys up okay?" Hayes said.

"Okay. Bye." I smiled and kissed him softly.

"Bye beautiful." He said after we pulled away.

He left and I took my shoes off and laid on the bed. G takes forever to get ready usually. I checked my phone and saw another message from Cam.

C- I'll be home for Christmas! :)
A- Really!
C- Yes. I'll see you tomorrow morning.
A- Okay. Love ya
C- Love you too baby, be safe

Yay. I'm so glad Cam can come home. He was going to stay in Cali with Nash, but I guess they decided not to. Man, I haven't talked to Emma in forever. I should really text her.

A- Hey Em! I miss you.
E- Omg! I haven't heard from you in forever! I miss you so much!
A- Wanna hang out later?
E- Sounds great!
A- You can come to my house tonight and hang.
E- Perfect. I'll see you then.
A- Okayyyyyy

I love her, and I really have missed her. I haven't seen her in forever it feels like, even though it hasn't been that long. I got on Twitter and responded to tweets until Gwen finally came back into his room ready.

"Where's Hayes?" He asked.

"He went to see Sky and his mom and then he's picking us up." I replied and threw my phone down.

I stood up and hugged him tightly. I missed him so much.

"I'm really glad you came back." Gwen whispered hugging me tightly.

"How could I not come see you. I missed you so much." I replied.

"You have no idea how much I missed you." He responded. "Do you remember that scholarship I told you about?" He asked.

"Yeah. Texas A&M right?" I asked and pulled away.

"Yeah. I signed last week." He said.

"Gwen! That's great!" I replied exitedly, but he didn't look so happy. "What's wrong?" I asked.

"I'll just be so far away." He answered.

"Gwen, you've always wanted to go there. How could you not be happy even though it's far away?" I asked.

"I don't know." He answered.

"You'll make other friends. You'll be happy."

"Not friends like you." He said.

"Look at me. You will be just fine. You've always wanted to do this." I said and he just nodded.

I heard a car honk." That must be Hayes."

I put my shoes on and grabbed my phone off of the bed, and Gwen and I walked out to the car.

"So where are we going?" Gwen asked as we got into the car.

"I don't know. Movies?" I suggested.

"Lets do it." Hayes responded and Gwen nodded yes also.

"To the movies!" I yelled and we all laughed.
