Chapter 68

Anna's pov://

I awoke to an empty bed. I heard yelling in the hallway and recognized it as Cameron's and Bart's. Oh no. I pulled the covers off of me and swung my legs over the bed, walking out into the hallway.

"You know what? I quit! We are leaving!" Cameron yelled.

"You can't do that!" Bart yelled back.

Cameron's eyes hardened. "Watch me!"

He walked into he room pulling me in and slamming the door. "Pack up. We are leaving." He said.

"What?" I asked.

"We. Are. Leaving." He repeated, then started placing things into his suitcase.

"Cam..."

"Don't argue. You don't have a choice." He cut me off. I took a deep breath and went to my room and started packing.

"What's going on Anna?" Hayes asked as he entered. "Nash and Bart are arguing now."

"Cam quit, so we are leaving." I answered.

"No. Don't leave me." He pouted grabbing my hands.

"I don't have a choice." I sighed. "He was really mad Hayes. I don't think I've ever seen him like this." The door bursted open, interrupting our conversation.

"Hayes, we are leaving!" Nash yelled then slammed the door.

Hayes looked a little shocked and confused, but started packing anyways. We finished and heard more yelling outside the door. We laid on the bed, knowing we wouldn't leave until they finished yelling. I laid my head on Hayes's chest.

"Everything was so perfect. How did all of this happen?" I asked.

"I don't know baby. Maybe everything isn't supposed to be perfect. Maybe this is how it's meant to be." He answered. I sighed and traced patterns on his chest as we laid there. We heard stuff banging around in the hallway. "I better go see what's going on. Stay here." He said and got up. I sat up, staring at the floor. Why is this happening? I thought we were a family.

"What the hell is going on?" Shawn asked from the connecting doorway.

"Bart, Cam, and Nash got into a fight, so we are leaving." I answered, sighing.

"Leaving, like leaving leaving?" He asked.

I nodded. "I just don't understand Shawn. We are supposed to be family. How could this all happen so suddenly?" I felt tears stinging my eyes.

"Hey, hey, hey, it's okay. Don't cry please." He said pulling me into a hug. "Things are gonna get better, even if it means we all break up."

"I don't want that though Shawn. I want all of you, I need all of you. You guys are my best friends." I cried.

"Sh, it's okay." He cooed. "We'll still see each other."

I sniffled. "I'm just gonna miss you."

"I'll miss you too." He sighed.

All the noise in the hallway finally stopped and we decided to go out there. I saw Cameron, who had a bloody nose, talking to Nash, who had a black eye. Hayes had a busted lip and was still holding back Taylor's arms. Tay had a busted eyebrow and was still furious. Bart was nowhere in sight.

"Wow." I whispered.

"I know." Shawn whispered back.

Cameron came out of his door with his bags. "Anna grab your bags, we are leaving now." He stated blankly. I gulped and went back into my room. I slipped on my shoes and grabbed my backpack. I reached for my suitcase but Shawn grabbed it for me.

"I got it." He said and I gave him a small smile.

We went downstairs to the uber and put our bags in. I hugged Shawn first. "I'll see you soon, alright?" He said.

I nodded and let go of him. "I'll see you at home." I told Hayes, pecking his lips.

"I love you." He said, kissing me again.

"I love you too." I replied after we pulled away.

I sighed and got in the back of the uber along with Cameron. I found a tissue in my purse and handed it to Cameron for his bloody nose. "Your nose is bleeding." I mumbled.

"Thanks." He said quietly and wiped his nose. I stayed silent and just looked out the window. "I'm sorry." He grabbed my hand. "I know you're confused, but I promise I'll explain it all later."

"Im just glad you're okay." I said softly and rubbed his hand.

"As long as I have you, I'll be okay." He whispered and I smiled, laying my head on his shoulder.

"I love you Cam.

"Love you more sis." He kissed my head and I closed my eyes, attempting to think through all of this.

Things are just falling apart. Magcon has been one of the best experiences of my life, but it's over now. The bond I have made with the boys is something that will never break though. They are my family. I have Cam, my parents, Emma, and Hayes. This has been a crazy but amazing year. Although things aren't perfect, they are perfectly imperfect.
